I'm on the same page.Romano said it's not true, so it's probably not.
Against the norm but I would have actually liked him here. He seems to have refound his mojo, on that basis if you would have been happy with Willian why not him?
One of those that is hard to call really, and depends a lot on whether the players desire is still there. Looked at his recent record when his name first popped up and it was surprisingly decent.Romano said it's not true, so it's probably not.

I don't think he'd cost anywhere near as much a Lingard. 45k a week apparently.I hope he doesn't come here... I believe it would be a repeat of the Lingard experience, only more expensive.
He has always been pretty intense and hard working. One of those that is hard to call really, and depends a lot on whether the players desire is still there. Looked at his recent record when his name first popped us and it was surprisingly decent.

The thing that stands out to me is he has seemingly got over his bad injury record, he's played 35+ games for the past 4 seasons, 44 last year.
The way his career has gone is almost identical to Willian looking at it. Had a really good PL spell, moved and had a bad one, went elsewhere and did okay then got back to the levels they were at. Probably not happening but I wouldn't grumble if we did, I have always liked him as a player.
Comes to us with a different mentiality as well. I think he was too intense when he went to United because he was in unbelievable form. He wanted to win at United but he struggled with a variety of personel. Ironically hed just see us as a swansong and try his best I think. Without the outside pressure he may just get his head down. Anyway Romano is saying its not true but if its like a lingard deal but cheaper its a small risk with a potential huge reward. As you said he has his mojo back as well.Romano said it's not true, so it's probably not.

So you're saying he's a mild Chilean these days?Comes to us with a different mentiality as well. I think he was too intense when he went to United because he was in unbelievable form.
