I did a thorough forum search and was surprised to find we don't actually have a Britt-only thread - so I've started one.

I just had a bit of a WTF moment when I realised over the last 2 games we've 20+ shots on goal, a great shots on target/off target percentage and we haven't even got our 25-goal-a-seaon blace fucjin g wot karate super signing fit and playing.

The future is bright, and it is definitely garibaldi!

Thanks for including the middle name, I wouldn't have had a clue who you were talking about otherwise.

Britt said on twitter yesterday that Mancienne was shocked that Britt did 40 lengths in the pool, which would suggest his knee is getting stronger.

I just really hope he comes back able, and he's not been David Johnson'd.

Be interesting to see how Freedman would use him. I think he played in a front 3 at Posh, so it wouldn't be new to him.

We've had the most shots on target per game overall so far, but only scored about a goal per game. I'm not saying all of those were gilt edged opportunities, but it shows what a difference a clinical finisher like Britt could make when he returns.

Definitely but it's good we are making chances and having shots. One of my criticisms from last season was not shooting or crossing when in good positions and just losing it without having done either of those things. It's nice to try and play it into the box Barca/Arsenal style but some times you need to put defenders and the keeper under pressure by shooting, crossing and turning them round.

Usually in a front 2 but with a withdrawn forward/Number 10 behind the front pair. Ferguson favoured the midfield, so he would often have to go wide to counter the lack of width and looked comfortable and still dangerous when doing so. He also occasionally played as the central prong of a front three, and as half of a traditional front two. I also remember a couple occasions where he was a 'Wide Forward'.

Pretty much everywhere, then

I thought he'd played right wing before, didn't we even put him their briefly? We certainly had Fryatt (remember him?) on the left wing for a bit

Johnson came back fine. At the end of the season under Kinnear he was scoring and playing well. The season after everything was shit and then we got Megson and he got a back injury I think.

Where's me hammer?
The depth in our squad is ridiculous
Not trying piss on your chips but if that spanish full back gets injuried, whos gonna play there? If Eric gets injuried whos gonna play there? If the goalie gets injuried whos gonna play there?

Weve just got a shit load of midfielders, 2 fit strikers plus another who isnt old enough to play every week and another who cant play every week.

Im more than happy with the signings but its Forest, we are gonna get injurys.... Ive no doubt they will be in the positions we are light.

Well, Mancienne would be cover for the full-backs, but if he's injured too, then I guess Ben Osborn would be next in line, having played frequently at Left-back for the Under 18's and due to the aforementioned depth in midfield. Or we could throw Iacovetti in at the deep end.

Right-Back has me stumped though. Maybe Riera?

Goalie, would be a straight choice between Evtimov, Dexter Blackstock and a cardboard cut out of Fawaz. Take your pick.
