Blimey, Jack Lester just scored at Wembley

One of my fave Forest players ever, loved him.

Cambridge have just earned promotion though, Lester's goal turned out to be a consolation.

Ha, I've gained a League ground. Been to Torquay, haven't been to Bristol Rovers, but been to both Luton and Cambridge.

Looks like we haven't according to the web. There is still plenty of time to set that fixture up.

We played them away in a friendly game which was one of stans first games for the club....won 3-2 I do believe....

Them coming back up means my 92 count has increased.

Quality to see him still playing and popping up.

Sadly though, he's one of the best strikers I've seen in a Forest shirt. Definitely from the wrong generation.

He will probably retire again now. If so he went out with a Wembley goal.

Is that friendly the one where Stan scored a screamer into the top corner and the ball got stuck in the stachion?

I can remember he scored 2 quality goals.... Funny thing was his first 5 or 6 touch's in that game were more Ishmael miller than SVP and you thought "oh no another dud...." Then he goes and does what made him famous.... Wooden benches in the main stand as well was what we sat on.

That was at home, we beat them on pens.

I only know this as my cousins are all Cambridge and I remember them giving me some stick for needing pens.

We beat everybody on pens. England should take five of our outfield players and our goalkeeper to every World Cup.

Lester was allways good at getting penalties, good player worked his socks off and new where the net was.

Wasn't he also the first successful Asian football player in the league, or am I imagining that?
He was a player you could really like because he ran his socks off.
