Don't let it get you down, Zoe. The social media branch of the club are rather odd these days. Eg. falling out with the COPA90 people because their video about Forest didn't mention EM et al enough.

It's very odd and it's annoyed me too. But I think I speak for everyone on here and probably Forest fans elsewhere in saying you've done a fantastic thing and shouldn't let the silence from the club detract from that.

Just ignore them - they could have regained a bunch of goodwill, but instead they have done the usual Forest thing of sticking their fingers in their ears and whistling (and they do that a lot about all sorts of stuff).

For anyone who is on Twitter or Instagram, please post the link and tag in ex players or anyone else who can promote it.

If the club don’t want to get on board with one of the most positive stories around Forest for years, that’s their loss and a rather damning indictment about how they currently operate.

In any case, as mentioned, don't let it get in the way of the amazing initiative you've created, youve captured the imagination of over 1000 people and given us back our pride.
You'll be forever a piece of the promotion puzzle, even though indirectly involved with the club. A heart felt thank you.

My emails have finally slowed, took me about 2 hrs to delete them all the donation notifications earlier as I was being careful not to accidentally delate personal messages that came via JG. I've managed to reply to those now also and some lovely stories.

Next big one, as life allows as I'm simply chilling tonight as it's been a mad few days, and back at work tomorrow, is to go through the on site messages as there's a few there I want to reply to, eg the recent one where their son died

Noticed a Southampton fan donating today to add to the lost of other clubs also

Yeah, their customer-facing social media is tone-deaf and unresponsive.

Which is a shame, and, more importantly, something the club will need to drastically improve if they ever get promoted.

That's the thing, some folks have tagged club and players and it's just a wall. It must be the club stance which just seems odd as like you say it could've been a huge positive. Hey ho

I'm dreading this email the club for flag permission for Wembley seeing as Dad still has unanswered emails from last week about his SF ticket...

Social media interaction is something that many people (including me) have called the club out on for a while.

Apart from the typical boilerplate posts, they really are very poor at interacting with fans on social media, it’s like going back to the old Committee era in some respects.

Compared to how some football clubs interact with their supporters, Forest are frankly rubbish at it. And, in this century, you can’t be.

Because that’s how you build and retain your support base.

Forst just don’t seem to get this, like they don’t seem to get a lot of things that seem to involve any interaction with technology.

(I might sound like I’m kicking them unnecessarily, but to be honest it boils my piss, because they could, and damn well should, be doing better here. Plenty of other clubs get this and do social media properly; Forest, as with plenty of other technical things, manage to make an absolute cock of it).

Perhaps, but it’s still rubbish compared to some clubs in the same division

(And my local side wipe the floor when it comes to supporter interaction / banter on Twitter and Instagram).

Forest need to step up and realise it isn’t 1993 any more.

I'm not too familiar with the back story with regards to this, Zoe, but quite frankly you (and your Dad) should be at Wembley for the PO final as guests of NFFC. What you've done is amazing and I think it's safe to say we're all really proud of you. Well done.

Just that they said they'd send paper tickets and he didn't get any by Monday, couldn't get through on phone and emails went, and still, unanswered. He drove down from Sheffield in the end. That'd aside from the fact that they resold his LB seat for a match recently also, despite being a st holder....

We've bought our Wembley tickets already and if the club CBA to retweet a fundraiser I wouldn't hold my breath anyway As said elsewhere I certainly wouldn't expect it either.

It's everyone that's shared and donated that warrant the praise
