The club has priced tickets and structured sales periods to ensure fairness across the supporter base, reward loyalty, and ensure maximum support for the team on Sunday evening.

VAR is all smoke and mirrors.
That ref last night couldn't make a decision to save his life.
And the reason is clear: he has become enslaved to the fact that not making a tight call means that in all likelihood the VAR ref will call him to check the monitor and tell him what decision to make.
If the decision is wrong, it is VAR that gets the blame, because the on-field ref by not calling it through fear, got it right.
VAR is akin to giving the refs and linos a few shots of heroin before, during and after the match: they become mindless, hollow-eyed addicts.
Make the on-field officials do the job!

I had someone ask win the cup or promotion... I still chose promotion, that 300m you get for 1 season in the prem (including parachute payments) sets you up for years. A cup win is glorious but the joy may only be fleeting when we lose all our players and have to start again.

One of my neighbours is a proper plastic scouse fan. Always dossing about in his footy shirt. When I mentioned the match this weekend, he had no idea the cup was at the QF stage, let alone who they were playing!
