Whats the low down?
City centre or Notts county
That's about it.
Although I have seen fans mixing more in recent years.
Depends who we play, they weren't letting Brum in any pubs around west bridgford, but I've seen other clubs in them.
Somewhere like labyboy would be ok if the OP is looking for a place to take an away fan
This.... especially if the fans from Thailand, make him feel right at home
Whats the low down?
The Cocked Hat at Strelley
The Cocked Hat at Strelley
Snap. Now long-gone, but arguably the roughest Nottingham hostelry I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, which, from a decades-long resident of Sneinton is quite a statement.
Is the Social Club open still at Strelley, I did some rough gigs there about 10yrs ago, and the 'Rose'too?
Yes they are both still there. Although the strelley SC doesnt look it from the outside. Looks boarded up which bars around it.
I remember going out in Ripley 30 odd years ago and there was a black lad in our group, imagine that f***er!i felt like that once on a night out in ripley. On a saturday. Bust AF it was. How we still managed to stand out as not local still amazes me to this day. Decided to have a pint of 'Big Hands' instead.
Rippos usually alright.i felt like that once on a night out in ripley. On a saturday. Bust AF it was. How we still managed to stand out as not local still amazes me to this day. Decided to have a pint of 'Big Hands' instead.

Aye... the Rose didn't see too bad, but the social club :handbags: :tomato::tomato::bottles:mfg:
i never knew it was there until me and mates had a poeker game in the entertainments room. Gotta say the venue in itself looked alright
Poets Corner?
I can remember the Medz bar, which I think was knocked down a few years back for the tram extension. I bet whoever was in charge of that job had to sleep with one eye open for some time.
