Chelsea could def tempt us with a players + cash option as they have so many players that fill gaps for us.

I don't think EM will want any sort of swap deal or players + cash. Pretty much the only reason we'd be willing to sell is how the 50/60m is pure profit on the books for FFP.

From what I've read it's a loan so wouldn't impact the BJ revenue. CDM as well.

Can't say I understand the logic behind this one to be honest. Too young and inexperienced to really play a big role at this level yet, and a loan means that we won't see the benefit of developing him either.

I just hope that this isn't instead of signing a proper quality midfielder.

Can't say I'm massively enthusiastic about developing Chelsea's talent for them, I suppose on the plus side they've got that many young midfielders there's a chance we might be able to get him permanently if the loan works out. Also, annoyingly he'll take up a squad space in our 25 despite being u21 because he's coming on loan.

I read alot of positive things about him pre-season too, suppose Chelsea want to see their 2 £100m+ midfielders start every game 👀

I thought that was the case but having just checked it doesn't seem like Brighton had to register Colwill last season so maybe I'm wrong. I thought I'd read it somewhere though.
