Good riddance. Had a pass in him but other than that offered nothing and by the sounds of it stirred up shit.

I loved watching Guedioura the first time around but didn’t believe he offered us much when he came back for Karanka.

He was passed his best and injury prevented a recovery to full match fitness.

No place for him in our current squad so I see it as one less to get rid of.

One less gobshite...
When he first arrived Robbie Savage said as a player he "had spice"

This time round looked like he was on Spice.

Gave his all when he had the shirt, made some errant passes, made some blinders, got me off my seat though which given the abject mediocrity we've had in the middle of the park gives me cause to be sad he's gone.

Footballer looks after himself shocker, so f***ing what, most of us go through our lives doing exactly the same thing. Probably best not to get oversensitive about it.

Im not sure I get some of the personal send offs given we got a fee for a player no one thought was worthy of a place.

Lets be honest, he's not good enough to get a start(or even a bench) with the current squad. I expect he knew that too. The fella always put a shift in for us, I don't get all the hate.

This was too good a deal to turn down, on both sides. His stock was as high as it ever will be after the ACON win. We've not only got the transfer money but also probably one of the biggest wages off the books.

A bit extra in the January striker war chest.

He got on well with Jokanovic from their time together at Watford.
If it was three years previous and he hadn't been such a dickhead the last time he was here I would have said give him another go.

Sounds to me like the players haven’t taken to Jokanovic’s style (he does rub people up the wrong way) and he desperately needs some allies in the dressing room. So he’s gone back in for a trusted ex player.

They look a bit of a mess to be honest, which I am quite happy with after the way they treated Wilder.

If they are signing players like this, maybe we can shovel some of our shite onto them. Anyone free to give Arter, Bong, Jenkinson, Colback and Yates a lift to Sheffield?

They have a terrible squad on paper.

Wilder was getting so much out of it but the recruitment they did when they were in the Prem consisted of signing very average Championship players, adding to their squad of already average Championship players. So when he went they suddenly became a very average Championship squad.

Exactly my first thought. Thought he retired like 3 or 4 years ago.

Yup. Make you right mate.

It's the usual story with some of their fans. Half are wanting Wilder back, the other half are only concentrating on the negatives, and think that a manager who got them 2 promotions in 3 years is beneath them now, because he was out his depth in the Prem.

And if Covid hadn't have happened, and the team could have still kept their lads routines going, I doubt they'd have gone down even with some of the poorer players they signed.

Just another typical stoy of a manager copping a shit situation, and instead of being appreciated for the 70-80% good he did, being vilified for the 20-30% f*** ups he made. But the new owner there definitely underestimated how big Wilder's influence ran through the entire club.
