He might have asked about the possibility of a free transfer as we paid nothing for him. According to the Boro website his contract was terminated by mutual consent on January 31st 2018.

Has he officially gone yet? I haven't seen anything on the Forest website.

It seems a bit weird to be really happy about getting rid of a player but I've really wanted him gone since the start of pre-season.
I'm a forest fan, i'm used to shit players or good players forcing moves to better clubs but Guedioura is the worst type of footballer.

He's the type that will go on about how he loves the club and kisses the badge and all this shit.. then the minute the arsehole tonguing stops and he gets a whiff a better deal, he throws his shirt in the bin and fucks off.
Pretty good in his first spells with the club but stole a living in the second.

The move makes sense but honestly couldn't come fast enough, the club has done well to get money for him but i'd of launched him out of a cannon at my own expense to have him gone.

Pretty much my stance on this too.

Great player first time around, but not the same player during his second spell here. We get money for a 33 year old who would be a squad player here at best now, he gets a nice pay day for a few years before he retires. Everyone wins.
