I think we did have a bid accepted, but the player himself kept his options open as he didn't really fancy playing in the Championship. I don't blame him to be fair, he's got himself a decent move after all.

Perhaps it was Sparta's doing, but personally I get the feeling this was more the case of the player holding out for a better move. Not much more the club can do other than quickly move onto other targets (which they looked to have done so with that Ojeda chap).

I think it's his team that loves the attention, trying to ignite a bid war. They are now implicating us as well, which makes little sense, since we're not looking for a midfielder, barring an unexpected bid for Camara.
