I'm Red Till Dead
Stuart Pearce
I've emailed my niece. Her and her husband are Wolves season ticket holders and he writes some pieces for local press/the club magazine. Hopefully they will have a feel from the fan point of view. I'll see what she says. There is disquiet from Wolves fans. But is there much allegation of corruption?
The only person in that article using it was the author who made the comparison with Everton.
They showed a picture of Wolves fans with their 'end VAR' posters. You can think VAR is ruinin the game without alleging corruption. The Wolves' supporters spokesperson says in the article they want to be the voice for 'all fans'. This suggests to me they don't feel persecuted as a club but that it's more widespread issue.
It's the constant ellison of corruption with things that might be wrong is my gripe.
Incompetent refs. The shit VAR experience. The complex and perverse spending rules. Etc. Etc. You can be against all of them without it being corruption.
