Arsenal benefitting from the big 6 bias today, Havertz 100% should have got a second yellow for diving in the box, but because he plays for Arsenal, the marginal decision goes in his favour.
The Arsenal fans also moaning that Collins should have had a 2nd yellow for asking for a booking. Rob Jones unifying opposing fans!

You could easily argue that one of them was a penalty, definitely contact.

It was a red all day long, but they could’ve been down to 6 and we still wouldn’t have had a clue how to break through

Omabamidele could, should easily have been sent off for two yellows today.

Poor refereeing is just an excuse today. We set out to be shite with the team selection and we succeeded in being shite. Totally on Forest.

He caught him but the guy goes rolling about then jumps straight back up. Similar fouls by Brighton on Forest were not booked either.

Useless inconsistent ref. The only favour he did was not give omo a second yellow but the first was soft as shit as it was. If he had sent off a centre half for those two tackles inside the first half an hour the game is absolutely at its lowest ebb. Especially when he had already met estiputan off with one and allowed him to thunder in to elanga second half as well as stand on his leg without dishing out a yellow.

Inconsistent when he booked Neco (rightfully) for dissent but allowed Dunk to do the same thing from an almost identical incident in the second half.

Then the yellow / red card. He knew it was a red card as he delayed it and didn’t really know what to do. At least he has the excuse of it happening in real time and it being difficult to call. VAR should be made to justify that decision. The only thing I saw was a slight trip by MGW on the player, so maybe they’ll use that as an excuse but he was still out of control and lunged, a leg breaker ignored by VAR.

Then allowed the cheating ***** to waste the whole of the 6 mins of injury time without doing anything about it or adding significant time on.

I don't understand how VAR can look at that and decide anything other than a red card.

Player out of control? Yes - sliding.
Dangerous? Yes - leading with the studs
Safely gets ball? No clobbers the player, nowhere near the ball.

It's as simple a red card as you're going to get.

Baffling.

Didn’t see the yellow as I was doing Mother’s Day stuff, but the one that gave the free kick away that led to the goal would have been harsh. Of course, we’ve learnt to be grateful for the benefit of any decision that could potentially be given against us…
I also thought that the goal shouldn’t have stood as Omobamidele was pushed in the back which stops him from meeting the header cleanly.
The red card incident was a textbook red. You can just about forgive the referee for not seeing it, but VAR shouldn’t get that wrong. Even the little attempted trip by MGW doesn’t mitigate that the Brighton player launched himself at Williams.
There’s no guarantee we’d have scored against 10 men - but it would and should have made a difference. What I did notice is that the non-decision knocked the wind out of Forest’s sails. It’s as if the players are resigned to being shafted by those in charge and feel powerless!

Much like us fans…

Well Nuno,s reaction has certainly changed from last week when he didn't want to talk about it.

It’s immaterial whether we’d have gone on to get a point(s) in this one. This is no longer about games in insolation; it’s about the volume of clear-cut outcomes we’re not getting from referees on and off the field. Nuno is right to ask the question.

I don’t think there’s an overt ‘conspiracy’ against us. But I do suspect that the gap in responsibility between refs on the field and refs in a booth allows vast amounts of subconscious bias to come in, and then refs are susceptible to every media narrative, every club’s reputation and grandeur, every loud noise from a fan base, and we’re coming off very badly from that equation.

My fear is that it’s slowly extinguishing hope in what is a young squad without much leadership. We’re becoming the results we’re getting, whereas I don’t think that was true even a month ago.

Yep!
The belief seems to have disappeared from the squad. I’m sure the points deduction is also weighing heavy too.

I think the dénoument of the Liverpool game extinguished a lot of hope in a lot of people. THe players on the pitch were broken.

Important to remember that the VAR team's call is not just about us - it's about player safety. Message to the rest of the league after viewing that is that you can get away with those sorts of challenges. Neco's lucky to still have an ankle. The rot at PGMOL is beyond the pale now.
It's ok, they'll give the red next time someone does it.

Was it forest fans singing "premier league corrupt as f***" ?.I've heard fans of other teams singing it before but not us.
