Think this is one that'll either be a revelation or a disaster. A massive part will depend on his fitness. For a 21 year old he's already moving towards the biscuit tin:

Already 4 injuries over 50+ days with 3 over 80, that does not look good for someone so young. At least we are keeping up our tradition of being Biscuit FC

Unsure if these've been posted in here yet but they are hilari.... umm ... very instructive, about American recruitments in general, and this player specifically. FWIW, I live in CONCACAF and have seen this player on a few occasions. He is really very capable of making exciting things happen!

Nottingham's dirty secret
If he stays fit.......he's gonna tear shit up.

A front quadruplet of Taiwo, Elanga, MGW & Reyna with CHO as back up is something I couldn't have dreamed of since the mid to late 90's.

We're on it lads.

I see he wants to play 10.
Think MGW might have something to say about that.
He may have to settle for a wider position - Elanga, MGW, Reyna supporting Awoniyi..

Just have all three floating and interchanging... should have some decent potency going forward

This is a real wild card for us -- and I'm all for it. If he doesn't make it, we've lost very little. But I just have the feeling that he's a player Nuno can really connect with and fill with confidence. He's not going to displace MGW but I think we would all agree that CHO has been somewhat disappointing and that his place in a front three is up for grabs. At worst, competition from Reyna gives CHO the bit of edge he needs to bring to his game. At best, Reyna just might be the kind of player who makes the difference and wins points.

His highlight videos show a player who is excellent at opening up play, with good field vision, ball control and passing accuracy, features which compensate for a relative lack of pace. Interestingly, however, the same highlight videos are full of him being fouled and demolished by aggressive opponents. How that will work in a very physical league remains to be seen.

It can't be a disaster because its only a loan.

The PL is not very physical any more, it's very quick. Players frequently get free kicks for being brushed by feathers.

The biggest struggle the imports from the Bundesliga and Eredivisie face is getting used to being closed down so quickly. Having less time to dwell on the ball.

In that top video it was great to see the bloke on the right stowing the host away who came across as your typical no nothing Yank that is all over Twitter.

I'd be more inclined to listen to his football opinion than the majority of pundits our TV stations pedal out these days.

You wouldn't have seen the number 9 play but if he's anything like even remotely resembling him in those aspects I'll be delighted.

Anyone who wants something to cheer them up have a look at this guys feed for some of his takes on us and reyna 🤣🤣

Holy shit at some of the views on there. Somebody done a compilation vid of the 20 or so 5 yard passes that Reyna made against Newcastle and put music on top of it :ROFLMAO: Then blamed it all on the "bums" we have around him!

Thought we put this myth to bed last season.

The PL is extremely physical, probably the most physical league in the world, and more physical than it ever has been in the past.

Don't conflate "direct 442 hoofball" with physicality.

AMERICAN IDIOT
Man USMNT fans are so god damn toxic it’s insane, American sports fans are classically horrible people on the internet but combining that with some sort of victim complex whenever a prospect isn’t playing every minute for their team in Europe they cry f***ing foul for days and days.

They did the same shit with Leeds when they had a few Americans, it’s so cringe.

Reyna is a decent player but acting like he’s above being on the bench for any side in the PL is an hilariously bad take.

Yep, just look at the size of most of the teams. Pep's gone from militant tika-taka with 2 players over 6ft to picking a team full of cruiserweights.
