Final thoughts from me.
Yatesy was correct in his post match interview, we did make it hard for ourselves, but in the main we were prepared to do that hard work.
Not a great performance, but not due to a lack of effort.
Our set pieces are improving every week since Rusk arrived. Shame we still don’t stop or defend crosses particularly well and, obviously that combined with our weak goalkeeping is making things way more difficult than it should be.

122nd minute and they still managed to squeeze the umteempth dive in  I don't want to belittle Blackpool as I normally root for the little man but f***ing hell they're absolutely atrocious. Literally no tactics other than welly it into the box and dive at every opportunity.

What a horror show of a tie. In control of both games until gifting goals away and we've managed to concede 4 from very few clear cut chances whilst having enough chances at the other end to score 6 or 7 in both games.

I suppose we showed good character and effort to keep going. We wouldn't have done a few years ago.

That was proper football.
Real men playing a real game like their lives depended on it.
That was the Somme
That was epic.
Blackpool were epic.
Forest were epic.
The Ref and the linesmen were epic.
There is no finer feeling than pride in a battle, hard fought but won.
Needs a St Crispins day speech.
The Verdun Ridge against Brizzle will be IMMENSE

The Nuno effect goes on.

He's had another look at players tonight. He's sifting the pack, weighing the value of each player - but he's already got them playing better, passing with more confidence.

And winning.
Well said Pebble

Atleast someone on this forum hasn’t gone completely doomer from a FA cup tie.
