GAFF LAD. "Open your knees and feel the breeze"
Thomas Frank at Brentford has to be under some pressure.

Will Burnley be OK with getting relegated with Kompany after the money they've spent?

Hodgson will probably leave Palace at the end of the season.

Pochettino will do well to keep his job while struggling to get a top 10 finish with Chelsea.

Howe is on a dreadful run with Newcastle and the Saudis will be looking to take the next step forward.

Ten Hag's season at Man United has been miserable, with their worst year since 1930 and dissent in the squad.

Several of those will be gone by Easter, I reckon.

I reckon it's a toss up between Hag and Smarmy Face.

Brentford have had a lot of injuries and all at the same time, plus Toney out of course. A bit like with Cooper, it's not really a mark against him for me. Not every team has a bench full of internationals to bring in.

Eddie Howe might well be for the chop.

Sadly for him, it might be literally!

Hahaha. That’s me reading between the lines on their forum. Don’t forget what he’s achieved there is better than anyone in their history.
It's not easy to think of any Brentford 'legends'.

Probably Dean Holdsworth and Marcus Gayle, who both went on to play for a better club with real legends (Wimbledon).

Everton fan on my Facebook claiming there is a conspiracy against them because they’re appealing the 10 points. And last nights cup decisions prove it apparently.

Not enough eye rolls in the world for this
It's not just Everton fans. I've seen Forest fans claim there's a media conspiracy against us as a result of us beating Man United.

When idiots can't deal with reality they tend to retreat into the world of conspiracy theories

Social media and the internet has created a monster when it comes to 'conspiracy theories'.

People have so much instant information at their fingertips, more than ever before, and when someone else happens to tell them about something 'dramatic' they haven't heard about before, you see them getting stirred up on the edge of their seats. Mainly, because humans love drama. Also, they've watched a lot of videos on the internet over the years telling them they're being screwed over or insulted by someone. Government, Landlords, Paedophiles, Racists, etc.

The days of sitting quietly in a library to obtain decent information are long gone 😂

I think the only change from Social Media is it's given people a platform to give their opinions. The world has always been full of looney's and wronguns, just now they can let everyone know they are one. Speak to someone who is an online lunatic in person & they probably come across as fairly normal 95% of the time.

Yeah, conspiracy thinking is, sadly, human nature. All the Internet has done has let people find each other and create a critical mass for people really into to to keep morphing the theories.

I first came across Conspiracy Theories in self-published punk/music and football 'zines in the early 80s.

As an aside to this, I saw a Photocopy-aesthetic 'zine called 'lost that loving feeling' yesterday. I didn't get one as I'd just given all my cash Simon Emmo for more badges. Did anyone get one?
