Yeah, he's slow as shit but otherwise just so solid. He gives me confidence. Don't think he knew that much about the goal though!

I loved that bit of skill where he tried to take on the utd defender and ended up having to tackle the ball in to the box 🤣

I think of the three Centre halves today they are all good old fashioned stoppers.
  • Boly is the best at clearing headers which he’s great at
  • McKenna is underrated in his ability to block shots and generally just getting in the way
  • Worrall is slightly more cultured on the ball but isn’t as good at the Boly/McKenna stuff
But the problem is that Boly isn’t as quick at reacting as McKenna but none of them are physically fast enough. Merge them all and you have Felipe so hopefully the new boy Murillo will be similar.

Based on the way we defend I think the most useful of todays three is Boly followed by McKenna and then sadly Worrall.

Boly was great today. Without him we'd have lost by 3 or 4. Put him in a back 3 with Felipe and Niakhate and we're suckifng diesel.

Agree, been a revelation since he signed. Another who was derided by the opposition fans, who has proved safe and solid. Maybe not a top CB, but in the safe and steady category until someone better comes along.

Worth keeping around, even if Murillo signs. Felipe and Niakhate are obviously our two best centre backs, but after that I'd say Boly is the next best in line. Feel much more comfortable with him in defence than Worrall or McKenna (as much as I like those two).

Agree with Rzar that he is underrated, perhaps the most underrated player in the squad I'd go as far to say.

Not really derided, wolves fans liked him but he was too injury prone for them

On the Garibaldi Red podcast (and other various places) they rarely ever put him in the predicted lineups and constantly want Worrall in ahead of Boly which I just do not get at all as Boly should be in every starting XI if he's fit.

The best thing you can say about him is he rarely gets a mention because he just goes about his business at this level without fuss and bother. Top player and still underrated IMO.

The stats back it up, statistically he's been the 3rd best rated defender so far this season.
