I walked by The Thurland yesterday afternoon, jeeez!
I hadn't realised that the racket I could hear almost at the bottom of Hockley, becoming louder as I walked up Carlton Street towards town was the karaoke session coming out of there.

The Thurland is doubtlessly the finest-looking pub in the city in my opinion, but sadly, the least welcoming.

I'ts fun to sit by the window in The Loxley (not much better tbh) and narrate the local wildlife outside of the Thurland like David Attenborough.
