Unreal that despite having him on loan for 6 months we weren't able to sort a deal out, strange one. Unless he simply didn't want to be here in which case its off you f*** to a terrible league and good bye. For what, 3 champions league games? 
I liked Lodi but I'm not particularly worried about replacing him. Having said that I'd rather he had stayed.

Morgan is a game changer, Brennan is a game changer. Dani and Taiwo are game changers. Lodi is a half decent full back but not a game changer

He wasn't half-decent. I have vivid recollection of how we played without him. He added another dimension to our game, carried the left wing pretty much on his own (thanks, Dennis!) and the truth is, we will both miss him and struggle to replace him with similar quality.

Yeah, he had a decent season, hardly Stuart Pearce scoring and setting up goals though. We can match and hopefully get better as a replacement

We'd struggle a hell of a lot more to replace the lads I mentioned.
According to some Spence was never going to be replaced but was never missed at all last season
