Conspiracy number 300...Hope we sign him just for the Derby/Huddersfield reaction. He was got at and missed the semi final penalty on purpose
ExactlyPleased we're still pushing fir him - means he wants the move if nothing else.
I was thinking the same thing.Think Coops is waiting on this before he signs his contract.
I was thinking the same thing.
Would also explain EM's willingness to get it done - you don't normally see that from him.
I’m not sure - they were pretty strong on their Neves evaluation despite him wanting to go. We will certainly have to match their asking price I thinkWasn't expecting this!! I can see this happening. Wolves won't dig their heels in IF the player wants to leave..
Front 'team' of MGW, Lingard, Johnson, Awoniyi and Surridge is pretty juicy.

No idea whether this is common knowledge (I'm not looking back through 60 odd pages to find out either!) but my mate is a Wolves ST holder and he has text me to say they're going hard for Michy Batshuayi from on a perm from Chelsea. Reckons they might need to sell MGW to fund that deal.
Could be 2+2=5. Time will tell but I hope we get him.
That would upset West Ham fans (not sure how but it would)I wouldn’t mind getting MGW and also nabbing Batshuayi as well

You’re the kind of man who goes to an all-you-can-eat buffet, and indeed does eat all-you-can to the extent that you’re rolled out of there into an ambulance, aren’t you?I wouldn’t mind getting MGW and also nabbing Batshuayi as well

Ah, fair enough.Suggest here it would be a loan
What a delightful conundrum for a Coach to have, though!Still not sure how we fit Lingard & MGW in the same team in the short term.
Both will surely have come here on the basis that they'll be starting every, or nearly every game
The main man so to speak.
I get that there's plenty of games, plenty of minutes, plenty of subs etc but I I don't think either would be here/ want to come unless they were nailed on starters.
That could be uric acidI did say I looked in my crystal ball and I could feel in my water.
As I've said on several posts, the gist of how five substitutions change football is the treatment of forward players; what is expected of them is to run their socks off for an hour, and then fresh legs are expected. It is rare for a starter forward to play for 90 minutes. Moreover, a player like Gibbs-White gives you the flexibility of changing 3-4-1-2 with 3-4-2-1, without a proper striker and Johnson in front of Lingard and Gibbs-White, which might be more suitable to steal points against difficult opponents.Still not sure how we fit Lingard & MGW in the same team in the short term.
