This would be a very shrewd signing and I'm beginning to get excited.
He was incredible in the Championship last season. Cooper also knows him well from his time in charge of the England U17's and at Swansea.
It's clear Cooper really likes MGW and he's on the up in his career. If he plays well in the Premier League, his value would only increase.

Of all the bits of business we've been involved in, this is the one I want to happen the most. Appreciate that's probably a bit crackers given the Lingard thing, but MGW is exactly the type of player I've wanted us to go for in the past but have seen move elsewhere to kick on. I'd love it to be our turn, as I think he's a real talent and think he could be a huge singing for Cooper given their relationship. I hope...

Betting is back but now we're odds on to sign him at 4/6 (was 11/8 yesterday) and "to stay at Wolves" has drifted out to 5/4 after being odds on earlier, so not a huge amount of movement but there's been some money on him to us today for sure.

Would imagine this pushes Awoniyi and/or Surridge to the bench eventually with Lingard and Johnson up top and MGW behind them centrally. Feels like Forest is coming dangerously close to a little depth.

Who was it a day or so ago who said on this thread that the deal is completely dead and that we should move on? If you can identify yourself then proclaim it's all paper talk and that he will never sign then it would be really appreciated.
