I have been genuinely shocked by the amount of good FFP & financial analysis on this board over the years, and it's corresponding reasonable accuracy + hit rate, and the utterly pathetic ignorance from Derby's fans at their own plight over the past few years has failed to even rival that slightly.
I've said this a few times now, but the majority of us fans were shouting "Fazza, sort FFP out!" and "Vrentzos! Stop spunking fortunes on random punts with no plan!" when there was even a sniff of us overstepping the mark. Even the Lingard signing has seen people raise concerns until the 1-year + 80k deal was announced. But Derby fans seem to totally ignore that, much like they ignored their own situation.
They are genuinely dumb as f***, and in no way put any real thought or effort into analyzing anything before coming to a conclusion. And from the past few years, neither have the crooks who ran them
