Commanding and no silly stuff, which tells me he's learnt his lesson.
Great saves. So assured. He was magnificent tonight.

He did wind up the Fulham fans with a few mins to go. When he had the ball in his hands to drop kick it he was goading them with his free hand. I f***ing loved it thoughCommanding and no silly stuff, which tells me he's learnt his lesson.

Exactly. If he keeps it to that then we're all happyCan't take that out of him completely, as long as it's controlled. Haha.
MOTM for me tonight. Brilliant performance
So there was one time when Mitrobellend was trying to stop Samba releasing the ball, he held his cool with it and just kept trying.
A few weeks back, he'd probably have slapped him.
Exactly. My thoughts when, early in the game, Mitrovic impeded him and was just brushed away. Very controlled and imperious.
Stepped up when it mattered last night. The fingertip to force Mirto to head over. The turn around the post which he made look easier than it was. The commanding of his area.
If we do go up, I'd be more than happy starting this fella in the Prem.
He is better than most Prem keepers already mate
Brice is class, always has been and as he develops as a footballer he will only get better. He will still have another 10 years as a keeper and if all of them were spent here I would not complain at all
Not a knock on Horvath, but still wild people wanted him to stick in the net over Samba. I think nearly every team in this league would swap their 'keeper for Samba and rightly so, he is quality.
I get why people wanted him punished, but he needed bringing back in as he was in the end, there is no debate around his quality. Apart from Emmerson of course.
It wasn't so much being punished even - he needed to get his head straight. The lashing out that we saw in the Stoke game had been building for a few weeks - if he'd been chucked straight back in first opportunity, would something like that have happened again? Especially given that opposition players now know/think that they can get to him (see: Mitrovic).
Obviously Samba is a better keeper than Horvath. As far as I've seen nobody disputes that - but Samba did need to sit on the bench for a few games and the way it was handled by Cooper was done almost to perfection and actively benefited both Samba and Forest long term, hopefully without impacting on Horvath.
Completely agree with that. And the period in goal for Horvath did a lot for his reputation I bet, if he were to move on for first team football I bet there would be a few Championship teams who saw those performances and would be willing to take a chance on him. It helps that Sky mention how he did nothing wrong to get dropped too (even if they do keep blaming the international break, whereas I think it was obvious Samba was always coming back in)
Speaking of international breaks. I think Brice will have his chance in a France squad before too long. Hopefully as a result of strong performances in the Premier league with us.
They have some good keepers bur one or two are knocking on a bit and his playing out from the back suits a team like France.
Screw France. He needs to represent Congo.
