The best finisher we have had in a long time, Get those crosses in the box and he will do the business.

Xande Silva, Spence, Garner (x2) and Grabban have all missed that exact same chance since December last year

Great decision to square the ball for Cafu shame he didn't bury it. I'm sure had he not scored he would have gone for goal though

Looks like a great player and a team player.

It was a perfectly timed, weighted and executed pass through to Cafu.

I’m sure it was harder to miss than it was to actually hit the back of the net. :D

When he came in and Cooper kept talking about what a great finisher he was I thought he was just bigging up a player, but he is an elite finisher. Half a chance and boom, every time.

Yeah, but according to Stoke, they want to drive him to Nottingham?

f*** that, the lad is lethal!

Looking forward to us being linked to players in the summer and people still questioning Cooper and Murphy.

Surridge is a classy forward, he just needed that arm around him and a shot of confidence. Some finish today.

The last time I saw a finish that clean and accurate, nine months later, my daughter was born.

I'm sure they'll land the odd dud, but it's been such an amazing turnaround with them here.

Sam is a perfect example of how to sign properly. Perfect for what we require in that position for both now and in the future, and at the right price too.

Nottingham's dirty secret
He's an elite level finisher.

We're so lucky that Steve knows so many young, talented players who may not be reaching their potential from when he worked in the England set-up.

It's not a question of if we go up but when if we keep the gaffer.

No doubt about it, nobody has a 100% record when it comes to transfers but it is more about giving Murphy and Cooper the benefit of the doubt.

Said it before, it’s about creating a culture at the club that gives players a chance to succeed, which Cooper has done a brilliant job of.

We paid £2m and should the time come we have to sell we'll make a lot more!
However, I hope he stays with us and continues to mature into a top-notch Premiership talent.

I like the look of him. Knows how to finish. Not sure what those Stoke fans were on about.

The problem was a 2-way thing: Stoke didn't really play to his style and strengths, and he couldn't settle in Stoke and hated the place.
Other than Josiah Wedgewood, no-one in their right mind actually lkikes the place.
I knew a girl from Stoke,
Who seemed to be terribly "woke".
She said, with a grin,
as she wiped off her chin,
I thought on that I would choke.
