If those players were better they'd be on better wages themselves. Even so, if Arter makes the difference that gets us promotion then those players, assuming they stay with the club, will most likely end up on PL wages instead of Championship wages. If they don't stay with the club and move on elsewhere then they may well attract higher wages off the back of being part of a successful promotion winning team. They really have not got anything to be upset about.
We paid more money to Bournemouth to lower Grabbans wages and players get upset when they are on lower wages but have played well and deserve a better contract.

Also everyone keeps talking like signing Arter is guaranteeing our promotion.

Anyway he's signed now, he's a great player so gotta hope the deal we've struck is a good one, no mention of the length of the deal though.

**Edit** NEP saying 3 year deal.

Just think we could have the following line up on Friday:

Samba
Christie Soh McKenna Riberio
Colback Arter
Lolley Freeman Ameobi
Grabban

Bench:
Diallo
Worral
Sow
Yates
Mighten
Taylor
Guerrero

That's 5 from 11 remaining in starting line up from last season, could easily make more changes.

Nice problems to have, and left out Blackett, Bach, Da Costa, Silva, Johnson, Carvalho, Jenkinson etc..

We have some real depth and good quality, but can this group be moulded into a top six, and beyond side THIS season?

The question is how will Sabri handle such quality.
And the signing Bachirou seems like an unnecessary action.

This season has a lot of games condensed into a shorter time period than usual. Having depth might turn out to be important.

Massive signing for that midfield, transforms how I feel about the lineup.

If we get a new defender + Christie starting, think'll we'll see a positive uptick.

We genuinely have a top 6 side now. If he can't get these playing then lord help him.

Absolutely f***ing brilliant signing, didn't expect this. Midfield trio of Colback, Arter and Freeman is such a huge upgrade.

He's the missing link for us. We are so immobile it's shocking, we desperately needed a player that could actually travel with the ball for a distance without losing possession or playing it backwards. Sow is creative but static at times, Colback will become a rock and behind them should be a solid defence.

Sabri has all the ingredients now to get us into top 6, fingers crossed against Hudds, it'll change everything

I'm afraid this tree is too tall for Sabri.
