I’ve seen Arter play a number of times for Ireland.
Think he is an excellent midfielder as some here have already said.
Don’t think he will score many goals but he will link midfield with the attack which many on here have been crying out for.

I think the theory goes that if you only play central defenders, central midfielders and centre forwards, the whole pitch therefore becomes the middle of the pitch and as such wingers are not allowed to play.

I know these things aren’t mutually exclusive and we maybe looking at wingers im just frustrated we haven’t signed done yet and we have 7 centre midfielders. In fairness to Arter if we get rid Yates for 2 mill and get Arter for a quarter of that then that’s great business.
