Anyone know how Joe Coveney doing?, lad we signed from Man City?.
I'd be surprised if AK keeps any of players who contracts expire at end of season.
Hobbs, Mills, Fox, Cohen, Vaughan, Carayol(AK couldn't get him out boro quick enough) will all be shown door.
Vaughan may've a chance, I think AK rates him, but we know his age/fitness major issue.
I'm unsure about Carayol(does ok when i've seen him), unless Ariyibi steps up except for Walker we've little pace out wide.
Cohen I hope given coaching role with Academy.
Big problem will be getting someone to take likes Henderson, Evtimov, Lam, Traore, Ward off our hands.

I'd honestly keep Mills, he's not a starter but he's not as bad as some folk make out he is. All things considered, he's the third best CB we have.

Hobbs is never going to play for us on a consistent basis again, given his injury record.
Fox is now too slow to be a left back, so he's been played as a centre back and while he's done alright when played there, he's too short and not physical enough to play there properly.

I've seen this posted a few times and it's not true, he played him when he first got there, Muzzy got injured and loaned out to get fit buy struggled. It was only when they were in the prem his contract was mutually terminated.

My opinion is that we'll regret shipping Mills out without a replacement. He's a handy, experienced player, even if not amazing. We'd only be a Worrall injury away from a nightmare without him.

I'd read that clubs can offer bonuses (goals, clean sheets etc) to player as a way to get round this. So whilst only "officially" earning £10k a week, Matt Mills has in actual fact been earning £10k a week.

I dont think that is true though. The whole deal had to be under a certain amount otherwise its a pointless rule.

10k per week and 25k per appearance would kind of stick 2 fingers up at the rules
