I didn't read Chris's comment as a comparison in any way Barry, merely an example.
On the subject of Robbo, I can clearly remember him being a target for the terrace critics before Cloughie and PT completely turned his career around by converting him from being a fairly run-of-the-mill centre-midfielder to world-class left-winger.
