The amount of replies either crying laughing or mentioning taking him to the "aeroporto" is a slight concern.

I might be wrong but I think that 'aeroporto' translates to 'prison' and in this usage it means they want to stop him from leaving.

Hopefully just link-noise from elsewhere given that we seem to be in the market.

He's been linked with the usual lot over the past couple of seasons, most notably Brighton and Newcastle. 15m euros seems a lot.

He’ll do - gerrim in.
Another piece of the jigsaw.
Serge, Montiel, Aina and this lad means full backs are sorted.

Nottingham Forest is betting on hiring Zaidu and is waiting for white smoke to an official proposal that could reach 15 million euros. The Premier League emblem has pointed to the left-back since July, being a long process that is being conducted by superagent Jorge Mendes.

Suggests to me that our one left back, who isn't really up to it, is getting a van and our other one has been loaned out. We'll get a left back, though I highly doubt we'll be paying 15m euros for this one!

He seems a very talented player. Took this text from a portuguese page:

The Nigerian has always understood the importance of respecting the zone of action of the closest players around him, directing his movements towards other areas of the field, thus generating advantageous situations for his teammates and even for himself.

In addition, thanks to his associative capacity previously mentioned, Zaidu has been a key player in the build up of the team. Not only because of his ability to interact with his teammates, but also because of his individual qualities resulting from his coordination structure, which allowed him to successfully solve situations of intense pressure from opposing teams.

This technical ability of the Nigerian has not only been evident in the build up, but also in the moments of construction and even in the finishing zone. We all remember the brilliant individual action he performed in the Lisbon against Benfica, scoring the winner goal of the game with a classy shot.
