Is the experienced lad who signed for Oly with a clause about coming to us right sided? Iirc they didn't even need him. Not Abbey, the other older one.

Big credit to him for putting in 2 quality performances after being out injured for so long-that’s tough to do. He missed a couple interceptions and think got megged once but had major part to play in 2 of the goals yesterday. Really like that he is proactive and on front foot, wants to win the ball. Sometimes doesn’t always come off but prefer this approach then some of our more passive defending this season.

Got to sign him up for another season, hopefully he’ll retire from internationals and we’d have him all season, bet he stays fitter not going out to afcon… not that they break players on purpose.. just seemingly ours!

I think he has to prove his fitness for me. When fully fit there's no doubt we're a much more solid side with him in it but with us probably sailing close to the wind on PSR again we can't really afford to sign players up knowing they'll only be available for 30/40% of the season.

He looked like he was carrying a knock yesterday and still got the game pretty well but probably needs the summer to rest up.

I've got a feeling next season if NES is still here we'll be going 3 at the back also Boly in the middle of that could be really solid if he stays fit. It may also expose him less and perhaps allow him to get through more games with the extra protection.
