The non-European team is doomed as you have picked a lousy goalie.
Peter Grummitt should be between the sticks.
Storey-Moore on the right of midfield?
Who are you - Steve McClaren?
Storey-Moore was an out and out left winger/ striker.
On the basis that you are the notional manager of the non European Cup winning side your team would get slaughtered.

Actually Van Breukelen would have been a better bet. I think it would be close if you pitted Collymore against the European cup winning team but Burnsy only had to catch you once and Lloydy would give you a bit of a kicking too. Where is Hennessey? Where is Brian Roy? Joe Baker? Cormack?

Come again?

assume you mean my somewhat random question? If you watch Derek, he is always asking his mates who would win between x and x. Sorry, very random.

To answer the question posed by the OP, I think the answer is Swindon via the A46.

Just out of interest OLDMANRED, as your reminiscences don't seem to go back that far, how old are you exactly?

No, I meant the OP. He's a bit odd...

He picked a lousy goalie who saves half his Pks though. Seriously, was anyone better at PKs than Crossley?

First team by a country mile. Except Burns would get sent off within ten minutes nowadays, which would make it a tight game.
