Hi all, Bournemouth fan in peace here. Was due to come up to Nottingham for the game on Saturday but I see there is a weather warning for some rather gusty winds. Up to 55mph on Saturday, and even higher on Thursday/Friday.
Are you confident the game will be on? Last thing we want is to get half way to Nottingham and have to turn around!
Assuming it is on then enjoy the game, but not too much!

I’ve got some bad news for you old cucumber - the World Famous City Ground has unfortunately blown down this morning, and much of it is currently floating down the River Trent.

No problem pal, you can let the driver of the official away travel minibus know that they're good to go. Best of luck filling those 3 remaining seats pal, could be a big turnout for you.

Appreciate it old chap. Though a wise man once told me that someone who uses the size of something in an attempt to belittle another man, tends to be lacking themselves in the “size” department! I’m sure that’s not the case for you though fella.

Belittling? Not at all my friend, I was being genuine in my sentiments.

It might indeed go that way!

Or, to put it more bluntly:

In my experience the posters on the Bournemouth forum I contributed to are the most miserable, bitter ungracious ****'s I've had the misfortune to encounter.

I won't be too unhappy to see them leave the WFCG with f all on Saturday.

I vote to let this one cook for a bit..
At least until February 4, when the return game is postponed at short notice because a sparrow's fart has knocked down Dean Court.

I was under the impression that every one in Bournemouth was over 75 and therefore unable to under take such an arduous journey?

The irony would be delicious and it does make sense to postpone this when Bournemouth are on a roll and it gives Nuno extra time with his new players.

I’m told, by my inside sources, that there was a real danger earlier today that the game would not go ahead as the wind caused one of the screws holding a bog door in place to unscrew by half a turn.
But fortunately, unlike in a previously scheduled game, a screwdriver was found and the potential for disaster was averted.

Depends really.

If we have a look around the dressing room and notice we haven't got the right players to do a job on the opposition, we might say that there are no cherry pickers in Nottingham to fix a badly damaged screw in the roof once the opposition fans are all here, or on their way, so they waste hundreds of pounds on a pointless journey.

That's what tinpot clubs do anyway.
