I'm sick of reading the papers and watching the tv and seeing these tinpot reporters slagging of the club. Listen you worms we are Nottingham Forest with nearly 150 years of proud history. Double european champions, super cup winners, f a cup winners and multiple league cups and that's not just the past it's our heritage. Yes we are down at the moment but we will rise again. And to the managers who don't want to manage us fk off we don't want you. If you were any good you would'nt be out of work anyway. We are Nottingham Forest and proud of it

All these no mark managers--not fit to walk through the main stand car park gates'fawaz ought to do a competition and appoint a supporter who has a feel and a genuine love for this proud club.
I guess they all feel they've got scores to settle. They are thrashing about using half of the true story and innuendo to make a story. I was particularly annoyed on Friday night to see Lee Hendry (exactly - who the f**k does he think he is?) slagging us off, calling the decision to sack Davies 'ridiculous'. Whether it was or not (and I'm not bringing this up here). how dare he presume to say what is or what isn't ridiculous based on his own opinion. I've packed in worrying now. F**k 'em. And we're not massively down - we have had a blip because of injuries and the sacking; once fit, the players we have are easily (under the right manager) capable of getting us up; it'll just have to be next season, that's all.

It is annoying when you read or watch some reporter who only bother about the premership, have a go at out club for "it's knee jerk reaction" in sacking a manager with the team just outside the play offs. of course they haven't bother to research it more, or watch the games and see the crap we have been burdened with for so long and how the club has been affected by the virus that is davies.

All of the excellent stuff happened in the past.
Now, we are a provincial team that has struggled and will continue so to do, partly because of our heritage of "punching above our weight".
I love Forest with a passion, but I am not blinkered into thinking we are better than we actually are, and dreams of restoring former glories are just that - dreams.

Don't get me wrong, it's all the more pleasant if you're getting good press. But it doesn't really affect me or my support of Forest seeing reporters... etc having sly digs at us.
I have had a dislike for the media for sometime now anyway, so I suppose I've become ignorant to it all.
Ultimately, if we get the 3 points on Saturday, there's not a lot anyone can say.

What's wrong with the media all of a sudden.
You don't need a tin hat - it's just your opinion. Money talks and we seem to have a fair amount of it now. Chelsea are a prime example of a club who very much punched above their weight and many of the 'nouveaux' Prem clubs are the same, there because of an input of money spent (rather more wisely than we have done so far). We will actually be rather good eventually if the owner helps us in the right way. Chelsea for instance would be nowhere if they hadn't had half a billion quid spent on them, now would they? I'm sick of apologising for our past glories; only bad management means we lost our top-division status and we'd be like pigs in shit now if we hadn't tossed it away.
