Whilst it happened on his watch, I struggle to think it was one of his. Completely didn't fit the profile of player that his approach was about.

He was one of those, like Scarpa, that people at the club had no idea about. I don't think he even travelled to England prior to going straight out on loan.

The Scarpa deal was public knowledge months before he signed. It was no surprise when he turned up in Nottingham!

Scarpa wasn't a surprise no but I'm told he wasn't someone that was targetted by the club's recruitment staff.

It's a shame we didn't see more of Scarpa. His cameo away at Southampton and against Valencia he looked class and almost scored a worldy against Man U. Obviously highly though of in Brazil. Hwang on the other hand...

The existence of this guy on our books is not exactly going to help our ffp cause.

On the basis of him being excluded from his national team due to his escapades (Although you imagine his lack of football ability helped with that exclusion) then you presume that the only other viable option of him being loaned to a Korean club is also out of the window.

My opinion is that Olympiakos should take one for the team here because the only reason he's anywhere near us is because we signed him for them and they've now got a loan slot open because we've sold Scarpa.

Brilliant work all round though signing an aging crap footballer with personal issues for our sister team who don't even want him for free.

If we breach ffp then this sort of crap is absolutely inexcusable.

Apparently now under a 'travel ban' by South Korean police, whatever that means.

He's injured anyway, so was probably never heading out on loan... Double edged sword though - you'd imagine the club could/would terminate his deal if found guilty.

I would hope they would have something in their contracts in which the club could summarily terminate their employment without paying compensation were the player to be found to have brought the club into disrepute by their actions. (And that in fact an internal disciplinary process would be sufficient, it wouldn't necessarily be something which went to court).

Obviously innocent until proven guilty though this one seems likely he did do it...

Based on my very limited understanding via South Korean media he alleged that he was being blackmailed and counter sued his sister in law who he said was responsible for the 'leak' (fnar) and was arrested. It seems the police may have found more evidence/examples though and the case is ongoing, seemingly with him as a suspect given the travel ban.

If Wood gets injured we may have no option but to stick him up front?!

I'd send the drug testers to both Pete Os home and Norwich because either Peter has been smoking something or if hes right then Norwich must be high having him back.

Their manager really likes him I think. Bet he's fit before they expected.

Not sure what the testers would find at Pets at Home. Though TBF the degus normally act like they're on something.
