Big season for him.
He was very good when he played early on in the season for us.

I think the club are doing a wait and see with him, and also obviously with the first team this season too.I'm glad it is only a loan.
This lad looks to have something special about him whenever I have seen him play.
We haven't got anyone who would meet their criteria - 30+ years old, slow, ex-Premier League, looking for a last payday.Other than being 'Derby' is there any reason why they're not banging down our doors for loans??

...oh wait, there's Harry Arter.
Possibly because we'd ask for a loan fee (which Derby aren't currently able to pay due to their embargo)?Other than being 'Derby' is there any reason why they're not banging down our doors for loans??

Because Richards was under 24 when he moved abroad on a free, Bayern would have had to pay "training compensation" under UEFA rules - but even for a UEFA Category A/1 Academy, the rate is only set at 90,000 euros per season (from ages 12 to 21) - so both Reading and Fulham will have got a token amount, but wouldn't have been able to insist on any further clauses.Sure I saw something on a reading forum about something for players under 24 or something, irrelevant of if they've had a free transfer prior to a paid one. Not sure if bollocks though.
I don't think thats a bad loan for him. He'll get played for sure and will have to fight like a banshee in that environment. Sometimes that's what players need, not an armchair ride in a good side....Just reading about Reading. Although being loaned to champ club is what he needs I forgot Reading still under EFL restrictions and think can only pick up frees. Ince is saying they will struggle as only got 12 or so players and time is ticking. Then got be thinking Derby wud love to have that amount of players but even with considerably less players they think they will romp league one!
We would have got the same deal for Matthew Bondswell when he moved to Leipzig a few years back. He's now on Newcastle's books and had a failed loan spell at Shrewsbury last season where he failed to make an appearance. He might have been one that left the club too soon, time will tell.Because Richards was under 24 when he moved abroad on a free, Bayern would have had to pay "training compensation" under UEFA rules - but even for a UEFA Category A/1 Academy, the rate is only set at 90,000 euros per season (from ages 12 to 21) - so both Reading and Fulham will have got a token amount, but wouldn't have been able to insist on any further clauses.
I hope so because he looks a proper player to me.Got a nice assist for Reading's third tonight. Played the full 90 in each of their games so far, this season could be the making of him.
I'm hoping this means Mighten is ready to come on and change games at the top level. Maybe as insurance before new signings are done, but he'll know where he stands. A January loan if he's not had a chance/made an impact would be an option.I hope so because he looks a proper player to me.
I only wish Mighten could have had a similar loan. It looks like hes shaping up to 10 minute cameos off the bench again, which he needs like a hole in the head IMO...
