For a second, I thought you meant Weapons of Mass Destruction when you said WMD ad wondered what you were on about!

Billy is a Rangers man apparantley, I don't think he would take the Celtic job.

I thought Billy was a Rangers man rather than a left footer, but there are only two decent jobs in Sweaty football and this is one of them.

Nice song that, sung by wonderful fans who are a credit to their club.

BD is sooo Rangers. You can see it in his squinty eyes and stumpy physical appearance from many years of inbreeding, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'd instantly turn down the Celtic job if it was offered. He's a career man and could quite easily do great things in the two horse race up there.

That said, I think he's got too much to prove here after Direbys season in the prem.

Sooo Rangers and Celtic, both in dire financial straits with no hope of competing in Europe and destined to finish first and second forever more in the Scottish top flight. Can't see what got him sacked as he was comfortably achieving Europe mediocrity and second place.

i don't mean to be rude. well i do. but mowbray went there because he could face repeating what he'd already done with west brom. west brom is a bigger job than celtic. you simply cannot win with those clubs. and the celtic job is nowhere near as being a premier league manager. simple as. you will not see one manager nowadays making the step that martin o'neill made ten years ago.

Nice to see there are still some people who revel in lines like "we're up to our necks in Fenian blood".

In fairness to Davies, he has a better reputation amongst Celts than you might think but his perceived Rangers links will probably count against him.

Ideally, it would be someone like David Moyes (ex-Celtic) or Mark Hughes but given the money that's been splashed out on Mowbray, I would have thought someone like Paul Lambert is more realistic.

Then again, if Lenny has a good run between now and the end of the season, who knows?
