It's heartening to hear Dougie say that Fawaz has learned from past mistakes, and I also noticed A Bevington confirming this week that he's still involved with the club in an advisory role. Hopefully he will continue to help guide Fawaz in the right direction.

Thinned out the squad fairly well as we had numerous useless players who were never gonna get a game yet were quite happy to keep picking up their pay check so must have decreased it, by how much god knows? Regardless he's done well, nothing spectacular, but steady progress has got to be a good thing. The football is a lot better on the eye. I'm not saying there isn't plenty of room for improvement as there is, but on the other hand we have never been particularly out played and a lot of the negative results could have easily gone our way. 2 top class strikers in the summer to add to this squad and we would be a very capable side indeed!

Plus need to get Vaughan on a new deal as he has been an outstanding professional who looked like being used as a 2nd string player at the start of the season by Dougie until he proved what a talent he is when he eventually came in.

I'd like to see what the actual financial changes are though. Just had a google and figures up until May 2015 should be published in March, which still won't really reflect Dougie's dealings unfortunately.
I guess we'll just have to see next year how things are progressing.
