I think he should be given the precious commodity of time.He could step down if he doesn't agree with the decisions.

He projects himself as a fan yet endorses the club screwing the fans.I’m pretty sure he’s just doing what he’s told, that’s the way this club works. We’re essentially digging him out for not resigning..
Maybe the owner would have sent him out as a sacrificial lamb had he not seen people defending the decision because he got us in the Premier League and though he had enough support to basically ignore everyone else?I’m pretty sure he’s just doing what he’s told, that’s the way this club works. We’re essentially digging him out for not resigning..
Pretty much. I doubt he has any real decision making power at this club.I’m pretty sure he’s just doing what he’s told, that’s the way this club works. We’re essentially digging him out for not resigning..
He can't have it both ways.
Again. He's an Architect. He is supposed to be the f***ing Chairman. That role comes with responsibility.
I much prefer engineers, those idle boggers hardly ever argue.Again. He's an Architect.
Absolutely.I much prefer engineers, those idle boggers hardly ever argue.
Agreed, but he’s not really the problem is he.. He’s just another person who’s doing someone’s bidding.. We really are burying our heads in the sand if we’re blaming anyone other than Marinarkis..Pretty much. I doubt he has any real decision making power at this club.
Still have no time for him though because, as Wes said, even if he isn't making the decisions he's still going along with it whilst claiming to be a fan of the club.
Well, so am I.Again. He's an Architect.
Absolutely. The likes of Cartledge and Bell are employed to carry out the ownerships will at the end of the day. They are merely the monkey, not the organ grinder.Agreed, but he’s not really the problem is he.. He’s just another person who’s doing someone’s bidding.. We really are burying our heads in the sand if we’re blaming anyone other than Marinarkis..
Just out of interest Ray, how much has your season-card increased?Tom's a prize prik. Everything about him is putrid.
Orrible human being.
I expect the same approach when they announce that we are leaving The City Ground as well; they know full well that people will be angry but they'll simply just ignore it.Did anyone expect anything different? He deleted his twitter account the moment the news dropped, any chance of him 'facing the music' was never going to happen. The club know all they have to do is ignore the screaming for a few weeks and everything will continue as normal, sad but true
I think this reflects how most people feel and as others have alluded to the fact that we're still angry a number of days later having had time to reflect on it shows you just how bad this situation is that the club have created.I remain furious about the way the club has handled this. It is appalling, amateurish, ridiculous. I accept the arguments about needing to increase revenue, needing to be at the same level as competing clubs. I am not linking that to how much player A or player B gets paid (every transfer window involves mistakes being made). I am grateful for the investment that has gone in to the club. However .....
We were told that stadium improvements were coming.
A new training ground (announcement about announcements).
We were told how important the fans are to #nffc.
We were promised that we were OK for PRS.
We were told of a master plan for the WFCG (a thing of beauty according to Danny Taylor).
I feel that it is BS. That's what gets me. I don't want to feel that way about Forest, but I bloody well do. I have kept it bottled up as I've been on merseyside nearly all week, but home now and it is bubbling out of me. I've got a lot to do today but I'm spending time on here bashing this out. We have been lied to time and time again.
This is probably not a very coherent post. I am extremely emotional.
Chairman Tom, prove to me that we have not been lied to. Just prove it, you know how to do that don't you? If you don't do that, it's either because you can't or because you won't.
I worked on a job with Tom's dad, when I was starting out. He was a decent bloke. He helped me, he was honest. I can't imagine that he is happy about this shambles. I feel sorry for him.
I do take the point that the Chairman and COO are likely to be doing what they are told. That doesn't really hold here though, it's been lie after lie after lie.
Every person who takes a salary has a point beyond which they will not go, and if they are any good they'll walk and then walk into another similar job. He is not walking is he? By his actions, or lack of them, Chairman Tom has alienated himself from the real Forest fans and things will never be the same for him again. I've had serious doubts since before Xmas, and this last week has confirmed my fears. Chairman Tom, it's a f**k up, you know it, so fall on your sword immediately (if not before).
I apologise for the rant. I am pissed of at the incompetence of the club hierarchy, at the collective dishonesty of the Board. I'm going to lie down in a darkened room for a while, then I'll get started on the gin.
But but but but they got us promoted and it's better than it's been for years.I remain furious about the way the club has handled this. It is appalling, amateurish, ridiculous. No its the owner and he's not going anywhere!!I think this reflects how most people feel and as others have alluded to the fact that we're still angry a number of days later having had time to reflect on it shows you just how bad this situation is that the club have created.
It almost makes me fall out of love with Forest and I have to remind myself that this isn't Forest persay, it's a few executives at the club that hopefully won't be there long.
