I went to Wolves away this season with one of their sponsors, posh lunch etc. behind the glass but the seats themselves were up in the stand as normal so with the home fans, kept head down didn't jump up when Toff scored (I did edge forward in my seat when Kouyate went in 1 on 1 as the Wolves ST holder amongst their party sat next to me pointed out!)

It's tough to do but not impossible, if anyone had overheard conversations we were having about the game they'd have known but nowt happened!

Fucks me off, especially the going for a pint on about 38 minutes or so.... its not just one but groups so everyone has to stand up and you miss the game yourself because of these selfish bastards... if it were down to me I'd poison the beer sold whilst the games going on, natural selection and all that.... the pr9cks then come back up to their seat around 50 minutes.
Easy to deal with really.

Just double the price of any drink sold after kick off and before the referee blows the whistle for half time.

That concourse is not fit for purpose. I'm looking for an 'announcement' which will I hope include 'what' and 'when' rather than 'we're aware it needs work and are going to do something about it in the future". It's been a joke since it was built I am told, apart from a bit of paint apparently nothing has been done. We are better than that.
We really aren’t 🤣

My boss lent me his season ticket when Forest played Man City earlier this year. All good though as I’m not a total f***ing idiot, I was ther 30 mins before kickoff and I do know the words to Blue Moon, however I was a little half hearted with my applause for their goals.

Sounds like you fit in perfectly.

Really glad that the atmosphere seems to be slowly returning to that of last year and before. Felt a little flat at the start of the season, but for United it was certainly bouncing. Keep it up boys.

Part of the problem is that the catering set up is so shit that if you want to get a drink during the half time interval then you have no choice but to go down early, and you’ll still be lucky to get it / them in time to have drunk it / them before the restart. This is compounded (or mitigated depending on your pov) by the game being on the tellys with Colin Fray blaring out. Sometimes I go for a piss during the second half and there’s still people boozing round the screens on 70+ minutes.

Most away grounds you can get a half time drink(s) without having to miss much of the game (although some of them must actually be run by rocket scientists because they do mind-blowing things like having the pints poured ready and separate pint pullers, fetchers and order takers), so it is definitely a Forest speciality to be quite so crap.

Another part of the problem is that with all the stupid kick off times more people want something to eat / drink because the game’s happening during dinner time / tea time / Saturday night /etc.

Personally I don’t bother with the Forest catering anymore, and I’m now so old the missus brings a flask (no rug yet), but I can understand why people do.

And finally these last couple of years have been the first time we’ve had sustained total sell outs so all this is part of the “nice problem to have”. So much about going to the footy has got worse, but I‘d much rather have games like the ones we’ve had at home to United and away at Chelsea, so overall it’s still a big net positive for me.

Yeah it is all in expectation levels I think. We had such a slump we are back to needing backs to the wall and any result in any manner. But because we were given a sniff of hope v Newcastle and Utd can be got at but everyone knew they’d have to play their part. Also helps when people have had an extra couple of Xmas jars!!

It's more because we played a bigger team in my opinion, last season the atmosphere was shit against the teams we were expecting to beat too.
I don't think that the performance hurt things against Man U either through!

Perhaps so, but I'd argue it was good for Bournemouth too.

Granted, it was Nuno's first game so i suppose that is to be expected, but I'm just glad we're lightyears away from what it was vs Sheffield

I'm still angry about that red card, but it could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to Nuno at Forest.
Same. f***ing furious. Forest have requested he never refs another game for us, I’ve no idea on the response but Im guessing because we’re not varchester united it fell on deaf ears. Same as the cheating **** at Liverpool. There’s no accountability because the managers requested this system.. not the refs.

When all 4 sections sing id say the City Ground is up there as one of the best. 10k extra seats will capture people like me that simply can’t commit to every game. 40k singing Forest are magic on and off the pitch… will be epic.

It only came to life at Bournemouth after the unjust sending off it was dead before that.
You're right, Boly's sending off was so early in the game felt like the whole place was in uproar for the full 90!

Completely agreed. I'm usually in lower Bridgford, so quite used to the noise, but you can tell when the place is all joined up the noise and atmosphere is incredible. I dread sitting in TE and BC.

I’ll have you know it’s the Trent end that has been carrying you lower Bridgford slackers for the last couple of games ;)

The thing is, even in the TE, you can tell.
When the entire ground is going, you feel the f***ing stand bounce, and, theres no better feeling than that.

People moan about the fans, but, the last few seasons, we've carried the team over the line at times.
