Yeah exactly, I’ve drank in loads of pubs watching Forest over the years even when I have been in the away end. Some of the pubs no goes with reputations. Just settle in, grab a pint, keep yourself to yourself, no colours, don’t be a twat. Not hard is it?
It's fukin impossible for me! 🤣

I was shocked by the amout of people streaming out early when were 2-1 up over man u not that it's a new thing as has happened for years but seemed a bit different the last 2 years with people wanting to stay and clap the team off

We're a top six side now so beating Man Utd is a given. No need to stay behind, save that for beating Real Madrid in the champions League.

Where's me hammer?
There's been quite an overall increase in people coming in late/going down for half time early/coming back up late/leaving early this season than last at most games.

Lots of newer faces, people with paper tickets. I suppose the constant fixture changes don't help.

Fucks me off, especially the going for a pint on about 38 minutes or so.... its not just one but groups so everyone has to stand up and you miss the game yourself because of these selfish bastards... if it were down to me I'd poison the beer sold whilst the games going on, natural selection and all that.... the pr9cks then come back up to their seat around 50 minutes.

Absolute selfish bastards for which death is not enough... the worst are the ones that go in the wrong block but don't realise till they've been looking for their mate for 5 minutes, f*** everyone else it's my experience not yours.

I'm fairly sure the bloke next to me was a United fan (in main stand). In fairness he kept quiet throughout the match and applauded politely when we scored rather than acting like a twat.
Yeah see I don’t really have an issue with that. Ok it is depriving a Forest fan, if the ST has sold it to him for a load of money I have an issue. If they have just said they aren’t able to go and he fancied it fair play. He could have been a neutral possibly. If my dad can’t go he will sometimes offer it to a mate who just fancied going to a game. Been doing it a long time, he has mates who have been to watch us over the years. Any neutral who fancied watching us v Barnsley on a Tuesday night should be welcome the same now I’d say.

I wouldn't have a massive issue with neutral fans being in the home stands, I'd rather the seat go to a Forest fan though.
Opposition fans are a completely different kettle of fish though, open season on those twats.
Pretty sure there was a Spurs fan next to my missus when we played them, he ran away when challenged anyway.

I'm a neutral fan and I've attended a few games and took my lad but I've made sure I've picked what games so a Forest fan isn't missing out,the games I've bought tickets for are ones that tickets have been on sale for ages.

As an example against UTD although I really wanted to go and could have got tickets but I opted to not purchase one so it could (hopefully) go to a Forest fan that was just late to the party.

I love football and the atmosphere at grounds so when I do attend I can't help but cheer on Forest and I do get involved with the atmosphere.

A few stadium bits:
Villa is still looking at improvements around the stadium, especially to do with transport and Witton station.
Everton is going ahead very well. Massive infrastructure improvements in the pipeline, again involving rail.
West ham still "considering options" (if I were the owner, I'd find a way to get put of that stupid stadium and make sure that Boris and his mates paid the bill)!
Man Utd ... the hope in profession is that they decide to rebuild next door, which will mean lots of very well paid jobs. Old Trafford is a fine stadium but it has been allowed to turn into a mess due to a lack of maintenance. It might be easier to start again.
I gather that Forest is looking at ways of scheduling the work at the WFCG and that a long-term plan, involving property acquisition, is being developed. In the short term it's all about getting a few hundred extra seats wherever possible, and rebuilding the PT is stages to maximise capacity (that is going to be a significant challenge though, mainly due to access issues). At least the club hierarchy are, allegedly, thinking long term now. Not heard anything about rail seats / standing though, or the (insufficiency of) female toilets! Come to think of it, despite the announcement about "announcements before Xmas", the PR Department appears to have gone missing.
I felt that the 'feel good' factor was back against Man Utd. The WFCG was boisterous and offered terrific support to the team. Delighted to be a part of that.

A few reports on twitter that there was plenty of United fans in the home end and I know of one plastic twat that sat in the Trent End via his Facebook post in our WhatsApp group.

Surely the only way they could have got hold of a ticket is if a Forest season ticket holder or priority member gave them their ticket?

f***ing rats.
I imagine a fair few touts have paid for bog standard myforest accounts and stay glued for exchange tickets that they can flog on for silly money.

No doubt about that. I did have access to a ticket from a friend who was unable to go, and has already been pointed out, over the holiday season there will be lots like that as people are away visiting. I was approached by a Man Utd fan, living in Nottm but who, to be fair, was actually born in Moss Side. I turned him away though and made sure that the seat was filled by a proper Forest fan who can only go to games occasionally due to family stuff. She was well pleased with the ticket, the result and everything about the experience except the toilets! Forest ... please take note and do something!
As an aside, I worked in the Channel Islands quite a bit and there were many Man Utd fans over there. OK, they don't have a league team to follow, although a few do follow the French sides a bit, but the odd Southampton or Portsmouth fan I met over there complained that, as they were the nearest, why do people follow Man Utd? TV has a lot to answer for. Football is not a television show, but if you live on a rock in the middle of the sea then it becomes more of a TV show than an actual occasion.
Most of the CI Man Utd fans had never been to a game, even a local team in Jersey or Guernsey. They were very decent folks but I did wonder the other night what they would make of the atmosphere at a Forest game. I think they would be impressed, and perhaps persuaded towards following Forest. That's why i think some 'tourist' seats, and top notch facilities, must be in the plans and those plans communicated and implemented soon.

Yep, that'll account for the vast majority of Man Utd fans in the home sections. Similar happens at most PL clubs - the prices they're charging, they only need to flip a ticket for one "big six" game a season in order to turn an overall profit - anything beyond that is a bonus.

That's why it's worth feeding back row+seat numbers to the club, so they can spot a pattern and identify the membership numbers involved. They're not going to kill a membership over one instance, but they might if it happens repeatedly.

Yep a quick google shows our Arsenal home tickets on sale for £200-£500. Quite a few do list seat numbers too, not that the club are bothered.

I remember last season when we played Spurs last season and there was literally hundreds of Chinese/Korean fans about, they had obviously come to see Son but you could tell some had never been before, no idea where to sit etc. How the fck do they get tickets for these games?

If I give my st up I give it to a mate, don't even bother selling it back, never mind to an away fan.

If you do that you're a tramp, end of story for me.

If the person next to you doesn't stand up and sing on and off the pitch, it's a sure sign he's an imposter. Twat him one and tell him to f**k off. Whoops, the old days😄. I mean tell a steward to have him politely removed.
Seriously, I couldn't sit next to an opposition fan at Forest.
Aye... same goes for folk wearing Half and Half scarves. 😁

Was like musical chairs in the upper Brian Clough against Man United.

I don't mind people going downstairs just before half time as the concourse is a disgrace when full but don't come back up before the half finishes especially if you're sitting in the middle of a row.

Sat on the front row of the upper section in the PT stand on Saturday with my little girl. The amount of people who came and went on the walk way in front blocking our view throughout the ENTIRE GAME was ridiculous, big groups of them back and forth every few minutes. Don’t know why these folks bother going. I assume they’re on freebies because if they aren’t they’re wasting their money. Was a massive pain for me let alone the 8 year old who had no chance of seeing over them.

That concourse is not fit for purpose. I'm looking for an 'announcement' which will I hope include 'what' and 'when' rather than 'we're aware it needs work and are going to do something about it in the future". It's been a joke since it was built I am told, apart from a bit of paint apparently nothing has been done. We are better than that.

Lots of clubs give a very small number of seats to 'Tickets for Troops' (always home seats). I noted Forest never did so I emailed them 2 seasons ago. I highlighted that whilst tickets are in demand there could still be a section or a variable number of tickets per match made available, even if just cup or mid week game. This would enable a small number of supporters who are unable to be ST holders etc to still experience visiting and supporting their club first hand.

The email was simply acknowledged, but I don't hold faith it was actually looked into. The forth coming Blackpool game being a good example of when they could.

Shame.

When I attend on Sunday, I will act as a tourist and not a legacy fan. My ascension to the back row of the Upper BC will be along the front row and then snaking my way up the rows by climbing over the seats and shuffling along each row to get to the next clamber point.

Do shake my hand as I pass you. There will be a good chance of this encounter as I'll need the toilet 4 or 5 times per half and probably two visits to the snack bar.

Forest have done this before, albeit maybe a few years ago?

Tickets were given to members of the Worcesters & Foresters Regiment (which is as near as you’ll get to a „local“ regiment nowadays).

Put your photo on season cards, problem solved

Although it’s not in the clubs interests to stop day trippers picking up tickets , not opposition fans but tourists on a day out. You don’t have to be Einstein to work out the correlation between a constant churn of day trippers and a lack of atmosphere.

Not sure

I have Japanese friends that wanted to watch Forest game. The cup game went on Gen sale and I managed to get tickets for x 4 upper bridgford

Repeat that, and many East Asian supporters and expats working around the area wanting to sample prem football with Forest. I ensured they sang MOK lol.

I’ve now got a semi official Forest supporters club in Osaka.

My boss lent me his season ticket when Forest played Man City earlier this year. All good though as I’m not a total f***ing idiot, I was ther 30 mins before kickoff and I do know the words to Blue Moon, however I was a little half hearted with my applause for their goals.
