Just got Bing's Image Creator to design a new PT stand. I like it. View attachment 30661

On the assumption that the Royal Mail and the incinerator and (presumably) the council bin lorry area would remain then you’re left with this area.

Looks far too small to me. Maybe not total area but the shape seems awkward. Can’t see it myself.

Seems like Bing was on to something as per above, that would fit in just fine.

Also st Eastcroft, the original plan in 2012 involved the decommissioning of the incinerator and moving that whole business elsewhere. Since then there's been a lot of investment in the PowerPoint with more on the cards.
I concur. There’s considerable investment in eastcroft. My work is some of this, so it’ll be surprising to me if eastcroft was part of any new equation !

So, a bit like not factoring in the tram as a meaningful transport option, I'm happy to accept the notion that building in unnecessary pitch access prevention should be disregarded with the contempt it deserves.

Interesting bit from the letter to the council...

Most recently, and importantly,RBC’s Planning Committee resolved to grant planning permission for a hybrid planning application comprising ”full planning application for the redevelopment of the Peter Taylor stand (including the demolition of existing buildings/structures), new public realm, car parking and associated works, and outline planning application for up to 170 residential units (approval for access, layout, and scale)” in July 2022, subject to the signing of a Section 106 Agreement (ref. 19/02589/HYBRID).NFFC remain committed to this project and delivering further enhancements to the CityGround, fit for a Club in the Premier League.

So when we moving into this new stadium with gold plated toilet seats and a safe zone for players that might need some 'me time' during games?

„You never close your eyes, any more,
When I burn your lips…

There‘s no tenderness, like before,
Blackened finger tips,

You‘re trying hard not to show it, baby,
But baby, darling, you know it…

You‘re burnt and badly peeling,
Woah, badly peeling,

You‘re burnt and badly peeling,
Now you‘re ash, ash, ash,

Woah….“

Personally, I think it could catch on?

There's a New Energy from Waste plant being built on the site of R-O-S Power Station which starts to be demolished next September, I can't imagine Eastcroft has any future once the new one is Up and running.
I thought that was supposed to additional additional?

A year ago, NEP was saying there was plans to demolish and build a like for like incinerator because the heat source for St Anns is still commercial viable

I work at the incinerator (about 17 years), it’s an ongoing joke on site that the plans to expand and build a 3rd line are just a stones throw away. This has been mooted for at least 10 years but has been complicated by discussions with the council over who funds it.
To uproot the incinerator to another site is not straight forward because currently the steam we produce goes to Enviroenergy at the bottom end of London Rd. where Enviroenergy (council owned company) run the turbine and the district heating scheme.
Because the 2 sites are intrinsically linked and to rebuild an incinerator elsewhere would cost 10’s of millions ( and if you think permission for building a football ground is hard there’s no chance for an incinerator in the heart of a City).
In summary the proposed build of a new ground at the Eastcroft site would have to be next to the incinerator.

Eastcroft incinerator has long term contracts and is a profitable concern and is also a vital ally as far as the City council is concerned saving them fortunes from the disposal of waste. It has a very safe future irrespective of what’s being built at Ratcliffe.

More work been done in the Main Stand directors box. Got a feeling they still think it could be quite a while til we see movement on the project.
