You know Everton won’t even turn up against Luton.

We probably need to beat both Sheffield United and Burnley to stay up.

4/6 points might do it if we get a point back or draw against Chelsea.

It’s us vs Luton now. I can’t see Everton letting in three in the last 15.

Well, it was a 3 horse race at the top and bottom. Now it’s a 2 horse race in both.

PGMOL ruining it for Sky.

And funnily enough they've had a hand in f***ing up both ends of the table with dodgy decisions.

Might need more. Luton have Wolves and Everton next. Wolves are lower than Luton in the form table (19th to Luton's 18th) and have nothing to play for.

Even Luton's last 2 games are against teams in shite form who have nothing to play for. West Ham and Fulham. 17th and 16th in the form table respectively.

Wow, we've won like twice this year and we're going to go all title winning vs Chelsea, Sheff Utd and Burnley... OK so we are playing 2 pretty much relegated sides in there but still

Our record vs teams around us this season is awful

It's wishful thinking of the highest order, I grant you that.

Luton will get 4-6 points from their remaining home games IMO.

Not confident we'll be able to match that over our last 4 games though.

It’s torture isn’t it?
Wolves are shot and the other 3 are on the beach!
We’re down and sports entertainment, sorry, footballs “integrity” is intact !!!

Well, if tonight’s anything to go by Wolves won’t be getting anything from the refs and Everton will be safe so not arsed. They could lose to West Ham I suppose but will beat Fulham if they need to. Oh well.

I would genuinely like to know why you think this
Their remaining 2 home games are against Everton (practically safe after tonight) and Fulham (who'll be on the beach by then). They are likely to win at least one of their remaining 4 games (most likely one of those two home games) IMO.

We desperately need to cobble together a win from somewhere.

I was looking at that the other day. Prior to Palace's recent upturn there was a fair gap between the bottom 7 & the rest.

We have 9 points in 10 games against the bottom 7 (1 win: Sheff Utd (H))
Luton have 13 points in 11 games (3 wins: Everton (A), Palace (H), Sheff Utd (A))
Everton have 20 points in 9 games (6 wins)

I've never bought into this teams being "on the beach" thing personally - I'd love to see some stats on end of season results for mathematically safe sides against non-safe sides, if anyone has any

But notwithstanding Everton and Fulham being "on the beach" that still doesn't suddenly mean Luton aren't shit, which they are

I saw people on here saying they would get nine points from their remaining home games then they lost 5-1 at home to Brentford who were also all but safe

We desperately need 2 points back from this appeal bit not a hope on hell of that so it's going to be a horrible 4 games

Although I never thought Luton would win 3 out of 3 (even before getting thrashed by Brentford), I've always felt they would at least win one of those games and probably pick up at least another point from their other fixtures on top of that.

Luton may well continue to be shit, but given the winnable nature of their remaining fixtures its not something I feel confident enough to rely on personally. We are going to have to win at least one of our own remaining games to stay up IMO.

We shouldn't be relying on anyone else's results - it's far from impossible that Forest and Luton both go down and Burnley stay up at this point

So we have to do our bit, absolutely. And yes we need at least one more win this season. I think a win and a draw sees us stay up.

What makes me worry is the timing - if we win before the Burnley game and just need a draw there I see that as far more likely to happen than going into the Burnley game needing a win to survive

That scenario fills me with a cold dread, to be honest

So because Everton won all of a sudden Luton & Burnley will win points like no tomorrow? Don’t be ridiculous.
If we had normal decisions go our way and no points deduction we would also long be clear of the dreadful bottom 3.

At the end of the day whatever will be will be. If we stay in this league I hope it infuriates all the higher ups in the league and the media and we can send them a massive f*** you social media post.
If we do not, I honestly as it currently stands would be glad to see the back of the corrupt shit show which is the Prem as the only reason we go down is because we have been shafted all season. I’m not saying we have been good but we have been more than good enough to stay up.

Remember, it’s Forest ‘till I die not Prem football ‘till I die.
