It was always likely. They both had their easiest games of the run in, surely?Everton and Luton winning is the worst case scenario for me.
Nope, Luton's final three home games are Everton, Brentford and Fulham. There's 9 points there for the taking. It was always likely. They both had their easiest games of the run in, surely?
And we might get a couple backLuton just will not go away. Personally i think the Everton result was better than a potential Burnley win because i think thats a coffin nail in Burnleys survival hopes. Leaves just one place with us, Luton and Everton who are due to get x points deducted (well we hope!)
IMO we could've done with Everton losing. Burnley aren't catching us anyway, but with Luton's home form and their run-in fixtures we may well have to overtake Everton or Brentford to stay up.Luton just will not go away. Luton play both Everton & Brentford. We also play Everton.IMO we could've done with Everton losing. Burnley aren't catching us anyway, but with Luton's home form and their run-in fixtures we may well have to overtake Everton or Brentford to stay up.

If it wasn’t for bad luck, Forest would have no luck at all, so on that basis, the independent commission will probably give Everton an extra six points.I reckon we'll see the news about the deduction for Everton after the games tomorrow - fingers crossed for a real 6 pointer
We do-but it’s very difficult to achieve that at this level. We need a streak of games that return points. Everything is the context.
