The Relegation Dogfight 23/24

Bournemouth play most of the teams in the mix with us, so better that they hit some form and beat everyone else.

And as for the atmosphere, it's been shit all season not just since SC left.

Don’t think it’s been sh1t but it’s generally not quite had the bite of last season - especially against the lesser teams (ie the most important games)

The next four games are crucial. 8+ points would be very welcome, but lose at Luton and we'll be in dangerous territory.

Brighton (a)
Luton (a)
Palace (h)
Fulham (h)
The Luton game is massive. I think it's safe to say if they weren't already, Bournemouth are now safe. Palace I expect too. They host Luton next weekend can need a Palace win there.

We really need to take advantage of this next run of games to get back above Everton before the next international break. We have those trips to Brighton and Luton while Everton only have the trip to Utd next weekend as the Merseyside derby is now postponed.

I don't trust Bournemouth to do us any favours. :(

The one and only scenario where I'd be ok with Liverpool winning the league is if that also saved us from relegation.

I think we should all be Bournemouth fans over the next few weeks, their next 5 matches:

Sheff Utd(H)
Luton(H)
Everton(H)
Palace(H)
Luton(A)
Come on you CHERRIES!

This is why I said we should be backing Bournemouth yesterday against Burnley, because we need them to get a Tring of results that will leave them well clear of us in the table!

My thoughts exactly.

Cooper has three tricks over Nuno:

1. He can do the bean dance.
2. He does better interviews.
3. He galvanised the city (until we started losing every week).

You can agree with the managerial change without showing complete disrespect to the man who got us here in the first place.

Shame.

Where have I shown him disrespect?! I was talking about tricks not his full resume ffs.

Maxi - always quick to call someone out without actually saying something of note.

The floor is yours…enlighten me with his other tricks in the latter part of his tenure here…

Your comment about SC was completely disrespectful, he isn't above criticism as he wasn't when he was manager but he should always be shown respect in Nottingham for his achievements, I'm sure 99% of folk would show him that respect

Maybe you should just admit you got that one wrong

I completely disagree.

Maybe re-read the comment and have a glass of hot milk.

Or, alternatively list out his tricks over Nuno and we can debate it 👍🏼

I'm really glad Sheffield United got that win over Luton the other week, they might actually have been worse than Derby otherwise. Hell, even us with Dougie Freedman and Hugo Porfirio and Neal Shipperley clear them.
