If it was that easy for them to win four home games in a row then they'd have done it already several times this season. It isn't happening. Teams at the bottom very rarely go on four game winning streaks.
Let’s hope so,Jase.
It’s in Forest’s hands at the moment-I’m hoping it stays that way (Bournemouth could do
us another big favour on Saturday).

Not a chance, one point at most . Need to beat Wolves and win at either Everton or Sheff Utd, then one point from the final game at Burnley and that will keep us up

Spurs and Chelsea both have ups and downs so with the wind in the right direction we could.

Agreed,

It was the same last year with Leeds, everyone thought when they got big Sam they were gonna get out of it, they had an "on the beach" West Ham and 3 points were theirs - they were comprehensively beaten,
Don't be silly. No-one thought hiring big Sam would be anything other than a daft idea

What do we want from Everton - Burnley tomorrow?
Draw or a Burnley win

At this stage Everton will probably lose more points anyway and haven't been in good form for a few months now, Burnley winning and us losing would take them up to 3 points behind us but a 4 point deduction would put Everton back in the drop zone and right back into the picture.

It's also pretty unlikely Burnley will turn into massive world beaters over the next few weeks, them and SU are pretty much gone in a footballing sense, pending deductions.

Everton or Draw. Don't want those below us picking up a single point. I want it as stress-free as possible. Everton may get a deduction but they have the best fixtures and will pick up points.
Agreed. Don’t want Burnley picking up points really.

Everton or Draw.
Yep.

Even with another 4 point deduction Everton are still out of the drop zone with Burnely, Forest, Brentford and Sheff Utd to play all at home. Luton away as well. I think they'll shithouse 8 points out of that lot so they will finish above both Luton and Burnley with that and therefore won't be a relegation rival in the run-in, so it doesn't matter if they win.

A draw is OK as it cranks pressure on them but if they crack under that pressure to Luton for example that's a problem not a good thing. I'd much rather Everton just be twatting Burnley, Luton and Sheff Utd.

Burnley win is no good, if they win and we lose then they're within 3 points of us and we've still got to go to Turf Moor.

I think we need 8 points. If we can match Luton’s result this weekend that would be a good start.
It depends how Luton perform.
Of their remaining 7 games they have 1 ‘banker’ defeat (Manchester City away)-of the other
6 games they have 4 at home but I still think 30 points could be their maximum, which would
mean Forest need only 5 points to finish above them on goal difference.
There’s a possibility that they may only achieve 5 points or less which means 1 more
win for Forest virtually makes us safe.
I think the Luton v Bournemouth game tomorrow could set the tone.

Agree. They have 4 winnable home game. Or they could crash and burn. Hopefully they slip up his weekend and the rot sets in. I think worse case, for us, they get 12/13 points say.

Damn i hope they get beat and Nuno goes after Spurs.

Let’s not get carried away about Everton. They’ve only won 3 league games at home all season. Their away form is better.
The pressure of their future existence is weighing heavily on their shoulders and they don’t score goals.
I don’t buy into DCL scoring a penalty is suddenly going to lead to a hatful. Burnley are going into this weekend in good form and they know that if Everton get 4-6 points taken off them on Monday they would overtake them in the league.

Yeah I'm sure I read/heard this week that between the bottom 5 teams they've only won 4 games in the last 65 we've all played between us. We've got two of them with Fulham and West Ham victories. We're all down there as we just don't win many games of football and are all basically a bit shit.

It's highly unlikely now the pressure is ramped up that our rivals are suddenly going to go on winning streaks and even if one did like Everton it would be at the expense of our other rivals down there.

Brentford will be fine this season, but have £5 on them for next season, particularly after they lose Saint Toney The Persecuted and quite likely that annoying "wish.com Ian McShane" manager.
The bottom will be very interesting next season. It's a long way off but you'd expect all 3 promoted sides to be much more competitive than this year's lot. Whoever survives out of Everton and Luton will surely struggle again too.

Agreed-dare I say Forest face another struggle if we stay up (given that we’ll probably have to
flog off at least one of our top stars to satisfy the insatiable greed of the ‘big 6’ and TV companies).
I expect Brentford to also struggle next season along with some of the promoted clubs-
Leicester (with a possible deduction looming),Ipswich (I think will find it difficult) and I wouldn’t
expect Leeds,Southampton or any other newbie to face anything other than a battle
for survival.Palace? Who knows.
It doesn’t paint a pretty picture.
