Time to bookmark this f***er, was ignoring it as some sort of one man ritual thinking if i didn't post in it i'd never have to think about relegation.

How many points you taking you caviar munching pricks? War paint on from this moment on, us against every fu*ker.

(wheres that classic prediction point table thing that i honestly done 10+ times a day from February till May :ROFLMAO: )

The thing for me is, how can you not apply the punishment now but leave it looming over the football club for three months.
Either give it us now and let us have a real go at staying up or give it us to start next season with.

Two things though
  • The club's ownership HAS to learn it's f***ing lesson regarding recruitment. Enough is enough now, stop turning the whole squad over every year.
  • It has to have a galvanising effect between manager, players and fans to get as many points as possible before May. If we do our jobs correctly, we should be 12 points clear of Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United anyway.

Gonna need another 30 points now from these last 18 games by the looks of it.
Not a cat in hell‘s chance of Forest doing that at this level.
Even 24 more points (W6 D6 L6) looks a tall order to me.20 or 22 additional points might be
achievable with decent performances and a bit of luck on our side-this would then leave
us on 40 or 42 points minus any deduction (which we need to hope doesn’t totally kill us).
Conclusion-after the wins against Newcastle and Manchester United I felt we had a 65/70%
chance of survival-tonight I reckon it’s no more than 50%.

Be ok even if it's a 10pt deduction.

7 wins from 18 games. ;)

Still got to play Brentford, Luton, Sheff Utd, Everton, Burnley, Fulham, Burnley, Palace...

But 5 of those are away from home-against sides equally desperate for points.
My view is that 10 points shafts us,6 is on the wire and 3 or less we should be okay.

We're currently four points clear of the highest placed team in the relegation places. If we gain six more point than them over the remainder of the season then we'd be safe, even if we're hit with a ten point deduction. So basically we need two more wins than Luton do over the rest of the season, and one more win than Burnley, to be safe. It's achievable.

Can't Play Left-Back
We got 38 points last season, with a severe points deduction that probably won't be enough. I doubt Burnley and Sheff Utd will make it to 30 points, but I think Luton will. I think we have to ignore Everton for now as we have no idea what will happen to them with their initial appeal and this second charge. So to be doublely sure, I reckon we might need north of 40, 42 maybe to be at least 10 clear of 18th (Luton). So maybe we finally have the ultimate question to Life, the Universe and Everything. If we can bank 12 points from the 4 teams around us, then we just need 10 point from the other 14...piece o' piss 😄 🤣

We will be fine, 10 points deducted and we will stay up.

Everton will probably get more taken off them as well.

All 3 promoted teams will go back down.

It's all about mid-table...
I think if NanNanu keeps us up after a points deduction it will be considered a minor miracle.

Al tek me cap off to him. Thuz not many get that prestigious accolade.

3 of the next 4 and 4 of the next 6 league games at home.

4 out of the next 5 in all competitions at home as well.

This could be a crucial phase of the season to pick up some much needed points.

Elanga Taiwo and Felipe coming back during this period is a huge boost. Elanga moreso because have a 3 pronged attack with him CHO and MGW is so important to our play.

Whatever happens this is going to a shit show for the Premier League. Come May, we might end up with 4 teams not knowing what division they’re in next season.

I know the panel making the decision is ‘independent’ but who really believes that old bollocks?

That’s why I think we’ll be fine and dandy tbh. Can see an appetite for a small points deduction, mainly because the PL will want us and Everton to accept the ruling and have it applied at the earliest opportunity.

It’s the easiest route out of this for them without it becoming a huge issue.

It says a lot for both Elanga and Wood that you pick Elanga's return out, but I agree.

Well wood is already fit so I didn’t think I’d need to mention how well he’s done for us but yeah lol Elanga has been quite frankly excellent for his age and reputation coming into our club.

Current Sky bet odds-

Sheffield United-1/33
Burnley-1/6
Luton-4/5
Forest-7/4
Everton-3/1

I’m not as optimistic as that about Forest’s chances (I reckon our prospects of beating the drop
are no better than 50/50 and probably realistically around 40/45%).
If we don’t pick up some significant points (probably at least 6) in the next 3 games-Bournemouth (a),Newcastle (h) and West Ham (h) then I think we are in deep trouble as I can’t
see the next 2 games (Villa (a) and Liverpool (h)) yielding much.
Given the upcoming probable points deduction I think it’s approaching make or break time
if we want to avoid making the long trip to Plymouth next season.
