The Relegation Dogfight 23/24

Does anyone know what happens to Everton if they go into administration?

I assume it's an automatic 10 point deduction, but it wouldn't surprise me if the EPL didn't have that rule.
It's an automatic nine point penalty for entering administration in the Premier League

So ref and VAR looking the other way three times in our game against Everton will become even more crucial if they go into administration, thanks to their admittedly great feat in winning the next two games as well.

Quite conflicted about them beating Liverpool - always good to see the latter fall short (especially after the recent game here), but a shame if it contributes to us going down.

Still hoping we'll follow Everton's example in turning things round over the last four games...

If we can't get 3 points from the Blunts then we need shooting, never mind relegating.

We're Forest. You just know we'll we'll get points v City & Chelsea & f*** up v the Blunts & Bumley
Yep, if we stay up this is how we're going to do it. It's never straightforward with this club!

I honestly can't fault Evertons fight 2 points deductions and 2 impressive runs 4 on the bonce first time and now 3 so far both times including charity fc 🤣

My crystal ball says the following:

Both Burnley and Luton draw at home next weekend, whilst we beat Sheffield United.

The following week Burnley and Luton lose their 3pm away kick-offs, meaning we are safe (other than GD) by the time we kick-off v Chelsea at 5:30pm.

Safe with a week to go. Just need to keep that GD healthy 👍🏼

Forest: 26

City - L = 26
S.United (A) - W = 29

They could, of course, just "call off administration" like Derby threatened to..... :ROFLMAO:

Without wanting to sound like a broken record from last week...

How is that 'Luton winning every game left' thing going for everyone?
I thought they might get something at Wolves so we owe them one.

1 win or even 2 draws could be enough for Luton though so lets stop being cocky and hope that our own team can deliver something of note in the remaining fixtures.

I don't think we could accuse Everton, and Dyche, of not going to Luton and wanting to win. They all spoke post-game yesterday about the chance to finish strongly, stay ahead of Brentford, etc. And Dyche's coaching staff obviously have strong Forest connections.

Only thing is, they've been absolutely flogging the likes of Idrissa Gueye and Doucoure the last few games, so I wont be surprised if they get rested vs Luton to then return in their final home game. Same for Calvert-Lewin who hasn't been fully fit for a while. Assume they now don't need to push him so they'll stick with that Portuguese kid.

If we survive I can honestly see it being down to Burnley and Luton picking up the best part of naff all until the end of the season. The blunts actually played some good football 1st half yesterday, and I don't see us taking advantage like Newcastle did in the 2nd half, going to be a tough gig for us with our soft underbelly.
