Luton are shit enough that Everton could go out with the intentions to lose and still win 2-0
I've predicted us to win more often than Luton this season. Hasn't panned out that way though, hence the league positions. You might be right eventually. A stopped clock is right twice a day.
Fair enough, Ashley. Was referring to the consistent predictions that Luton will win every week, not aimed specifically at you, there are plenty bigging them up constantly.I've predicted us to win more often than Luton this season. Hasn't panned out that way though, hence the league positions.
Yes, I do think the predictions of them getting 7-10 points from their remaining games was unlikely, even before Brentford gave them a good hiding.Fair enough, Ashley. They've lost three in a row. Don't think we've managed that yet, have we?
They won't be there. PGMOL will have them banned to avoid a conflict of interest with another team fighting relegationWoan and Stone to get them fired up
If we fail to win another game I reckon we’re toast,Ash.Yes, I do think the predictions of them getting 7-10 points from their remaining games was unlikely, even before Brentford gave them a good hiding.
3 or 4 points from their remaining home games is certainly a possibility though IMO. We desperately need a win from somewhere, ultimately.
It's just a shame we are so bad away from home. Hopefully we can pull a result out of the bag against Chelsea. If we fail to win another game I reckon we’re toast,Ash.
I make our final 3 games all winnable (despite our poor record on the road). It's just a shame we are so bad away from home. Hopefully we can pull a result out of the bag against Chelsea.
On paper, yes. But Chelsea and Newcastle away aside, we are shocking on the road (not just results, but some of the performances have been absolutely dreadful too).I make our final 3 games all winnable (despite our poor record on the road).
I'm praying that we pull a rabbit out of the hat with Chelsea. We've shown enough at home to claim their scalp, and they've only won 1 away in the last 6 too.If we fail to win another game I reckon we’re toast,Ash.
Not as bad as last season-we were robbed at Manchester United and should have beatenOn paper, yes. But Chelsea and Newcastle away aside, we are shocking on the road (not just results, but some of the performances have been absolutely dreadful too).
In contrast, I think we are decent at home and give most teams a good game, even if we don't always get a result.
Better than last season is a low bar to be fair! But I've seen enough horror shows on the road these past couple of years to make me fear the worst from our away games. Losing I can accept, but some of the performances (and at times lack of fight) are embarrassing. Not as bad as last season-we were robbed at Manchester United and should have beaten
Wolves and Luton. We should have got something at West Ham too.
I think we can get something at Sheffield United and Burnley.
I should have said significantly better than last season when we were pitiful away.Better than last season is a low bar to be fair! Home games on the other hand we at least show a bit of fight and I do think the crowd really helps. That Chelsea game could be as important as Arsenal at home last season.
I reckon a draw at the Blunts (most likely conceding the usual comedy goal from a set piece for their late equaliser) and a defeat at Burnley with the usual tepid away performance.I should have said significantly better than last season when we were pitiful away.
I think we’ll win at Sheffield United and draw at Burnley.
After you with the Bong!Guys we're getting a point from Citeh and then a full nine from the Blunts, the Blues and the Burnley
After you with the Bong!
Do we know where his favourite coffee shop isI think big EM should fire out a few ‘mind game’ tweets ahead of the Man City game. Something that gets Pep all grumpy
