We will be rellagated, according to an AI super computer, ran over 500 permutations, so says a report on forest news.
so thats it then.....so lets hope this AI super computer is wrong.
Funny how all the bookies still have Luton as odds on to drop then.

I would point anyone insisting that „AI“ can accurately predict football results to the recent news story about Amazon‘s „no-look“ AI-powered grocery stores, where it turned out there were actually 1.000 Amazon employees in India watching what you put in your basket.

Those insisting they’ve used „AI“ have, let’s face it, just left Football Manager on auto overnight and f**ked-off to the pub.

Me neither, admittedly I’m just a radio listener these days but it’s been a bit joyless on the whole. Quite stressful at times.
But I want it to work for the younger fans, I really do.
We’ve got a great fanbase and they deserve some success, even if that is only measured by being a Prem team for a while.

A relegation dogfight can be exciting and we’ve got the quality to succeed.
It does feel like a job rather than fun these days.

I was lucky enough to get the benefit of both of the great teams that Clough put together, by that I mean the European Cup era and the Psycho led squads, but that's not to say I didn't enjoy the early Championship days either.

I'd love the current generation to get the same buzz we got out of being Forest supporters, they certainly make enough noise, but I doubt it'll ever reach those peaks again. Premier League has ruined all that.

Let’s be honest with ourselves here as well - if us or Palace had needed three points on the final day last year it would have been a very different game. At least from our perspective.

I also remember taking Gillingham down with us on the final day in 2005, even though we had ‘nothing to play for’.

Anything can happen I suppose 😂

In the end if Forest end up avoiding relegation, they will have earned it. If the get relegated, they'll have deserved it.

After 70 games in the Premier league we have only 3 away wins, haven't got a backbone, piss away leads far too easily still. One of the worst in terms of dropped points throughout these 2 years.

Any other season and having 25 points at this stage would have been curtains, have we even improved since last season? The league table doesn't lie over such a sample period. Is the result less than the sum of its constituent parts or is this the correct level for these guys.

I am getting Leicester vibes from last season with this team. They better pull their fingers out and starting this Saturday.

Course we've improved! We're a mid-table side, even with Turner & Vlach in net, didn't you get the early season memo? 😆

It's all about mid-table...

Perfect summing up Leym, norra fukka on the planet can argue we that.

We have an enormously expensively assembled squad whom are havin millions of pounds poured into their bank accounts every single month along with their poisonous billionaire agents.

Are they the sum of their parts? Notta a prayer, nowhere fukin near.

Oh for a minute there I thought you said the league table didn't lie over such a sample period, my mistake.

I don't really disagree with what you're saying in general though.
The club is at fault for the points deduction as well so yes it doesn't lie.

I would love to hear what discussions they had with the Premier league which gave them the confidence to delay the BJ transfer.

Maybe it was nothing more than just playing the percentages as no one had been charged for breaching FFP/PSR before the time in question.

OK I'm just being pedantic, I'm not here to debate the culpability of the club in the points deduction. Not in this thread anyway 😜.
I just think if we're purely comparing what has happened on the pitch it is relevant to say we've earned 29 points there compared with 27 at the same time last season. So you're right, hardly any improvement, but there is a very slight one. But that has been wiped out by the points deduction of course, and most of us expected better.

Games of Interest This Weekend
  • Brentford - Sheffield United
  • Burnley - Brighton
  • City - Luton
  • Forest - Wolves
  • Chelsea - Everton
  • Liverpool - Palace
Us to win, Brentford/Sheffield to draw, Brighton to win, City to win, Chelsea to win and Liverpool to win would be the ideal weekend for us. It would put us 3 pts clear of relegation, above Everton and right behind Palace/Brentford.
