Yes-I reckon around 30 points could be enough.
A lot will depend on the points deduction-if it’s 6 I think we might struggle to make that total
as 2 of our remaining games look like defeats (Tottenham and Manchester City).11 points
from the other 7 games looks a tall order to me.
If we get 3 or 4 deducted then 8 or 9 more points is more achievable.
We probably need 3 wins (plus maybe a draw or two) to have a good chance.
You'll be fine. But next season has to be very carefully planned, on all levels. Second chances happen in life, third chances are very rare. Next season will be either about moving considerably up the table or going down badly, I see no middle way.

Thats the way I see it too, will scrape through this season but really need to make sure we are in the upper lower half of the table next year.
That will be more than acceptable and something to build on which is missing right now

Unlike Sheff U and Burnleh, at least we are still in the dogfight, so until the roof caves in, we're fighting.

On a lighter note, my onion and cauliflower seedlings are coming on a treat.
We don't want to be going to Burnley needing any kind of positive result regardless of how far gone they are. Seen some horrendous performances at Turf Moor including conceding 5 twice and that match where we broke all the rules wearing red v their claret (the "it is what it is" 3-1 defeat). Best result I've seen there was the last-minute McGugan pen in the 1-1 that felt like a win.

We need to find another Murphy then and have Marinakis, his son and right hand men cut any footballing decisions out asap then, because the second we hit a few defeats they throw plans all out of he window in a panic.

My prediction, based on nothing but a wild guess, is that we'll be deducted 6 points and finish the season in 17th place on 30 points, the same as Luton. We'll survive on goal difference.

Might be controversial but Europe is out for us now I think 🤔, just saying.

I've pegged that last game for Luton against Fulham as a win for them, because that'll be proverbial "Fulham on their holidays" and Luton, if they're still in touching distance, will probably know it's win or bust. Hopefully if that is the case then they've not accumulated the points in the run up to get over 30 points with a win vs Fulham because if they manage that I think we might be toast.

Odds are in our favour. Four points of fewer points deduction makes that doubly so.

I hate to say it, Bonfy, but this lack of ambition will probably cost you the chance of ever managing Forest under Marinakis. Maybe you'd be better applying for a team with more modest aims such as Wolves or Brighton.

🤔, I’m going into the flat screen TV business pal as there more dough in it and a brighter long term future,

I’m planning to deal with only one client who wishes to remain anonymous but he’s Greek and his name sounds like Mvangelos Earinakis 📺

You'll be on the Forbes' Rich List in a few years, Bonfy. Please remember your old mates on here when you're sailing your yacht around the Maldives.

As bad as we've been over the last four matches, fortunately the others have been the same.
