There has been a vague suggestion that Reading FC are interested in making a bid for Hobbs. I thought that if the rumour was to last more than a few minutes it might be a good idea to create a space for all our carefully reasoned arguments.

Would be a crazy decision to sell him. But i'd be extremely surprised if we agreed to anyway, unless it was daft money and we had a very good replacement.

I thought that personally. Would be the only sensible reason to sell, but we'd also need a dominating centre-back as replacement.

Just because clubs are interested doesn't mean they are leaving. He rejected them in January so why would he join them now we have a stronger squad and sold last seasons rejects to them, and that's before a bid has even been accepted.

Stupid agent talk. Interest in players is showing what good players we have and I am happy to not be considered promotion favourites yet everybody going for promotion wants our players.
